BDL that is. Were supposed to go out tomorrow (1/23) at 7:00 AM. Rebooked to 3:27 PM this afternoon. Plane's there, we're in our seats and the captain says they're having a problem closing the rear door. We push back and then he says that visibility has deteriorated and that we can't go (ie. cancel). It gets better. We taxi in, everyone gets off and we go to reclaim our luggage. They
lost my wife's suitcase (and ten other persons). Still lost (as of 9:30 PM). How do you lose luggage on a plane that traveled 200 feet? Back to the cancellation. We (I) think the reason they went through the motions of push back was to "mask" that the rear door problem was fixed. If the plane doesn't fly for mechanical reasons it costs the airline, weather you're on your own. Now back to our story.... we're home (and the roads/visibilty were fine) and ready to shovel. Booked for 6:40 PM (Song) tomorrow night....have the feeling we'll be going Monday. The good news is that it looks pretty cold in Orlando, so what the hey !
