WOW....

Sprung the surprise on the kids when we were near folkestone, faces were a picture....very shocked, will explain more in the trip report.

Had a fantastic time, never seen the parks at christmas or at night as we went in september last time so it was all light when the parades etc were on.

Friday was great, most rides were walk ons with BTM being a 10 minute wait (had to be done a few times)

Saturday was chaos but still managed to get loads of rides done which we didn't think we would, IASW,BTM,POTC,RnR plus lots of shows.

Worst part was the driving, in total we have done about 20 hours worth of driving between us from where we live over to france but well worth the effort.

Also we decided to try the 2 bed cabin at the DCR and what a difference the extra £30 is for the trip, first cabin we had in september was ok just a bit tatty with wallpaper coming off in corners and just a bit worn...this time the 2 bed cabin was immaculate...couldn't fault it at all, looked like it had been newly built (hadn't though as we asked lol) so if you are considering the DCR I would def suggest the £30 upgrade.

Lots of pics and videos taken so will do a trip report with pics when I wake up a bit.

Good to be back but miss the parks already as we all do.

Sounds amazing - cant wait to read your trippie :thumbsup2

I'm really glad to hear you weren't put off by the crowds in the parks this weekend - it sounded like Disney expected it to be the busiest weekend of the year :)

Welcome home :wave2:

Sounds like you had a great time. Looking forward to seeing the look of shock :)

Yeah we we're prepared for a busy saturday but even though it was manic it wasn't as bad as we thought....we probably won't do Christmas again as like mummyal said it is only a few xmas decorations up and the tree etc but glad we managed to catch it.

We we're there an hour early for fanitllusion and the spot we found still wasn't at the front but at least we have seen it and loved it alond with the OUAD parade, gotta say the parks are fantastic at night...wife was crying when she saw the castle all lit up.

Welcome home.. I found it quite easy going up until Saturday too...

As expected, I couldnt move and all the rides were minumum 80 min wait but we had to leave to go home at 2pm, so all we did saturday morning was see honey I shrunk the audience which hadnt been open beforehand, and Stitch Live again which we loved :)

Welcome back!:goodvibes Looking forward to the report. Hope the invitations were a hit with the children!

Sounds like you had a good time.

I loved our 2 bed cabin at the DCR and ours too looked like it was brand new! Lovely cabins and it has become my favorate Disney Hotel again (if only they would start the free shuttle bus again!)
