I just spent two nights at POP Century and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I am a huge fan of the value resorts, especially POP, but I have to say this time it felt a little unclean!! The carpet in the room had huge toothpaste stains on the carpet by the sink, smelled of coffee (which really isn't a bad smell- its just the thought of someone else's coffee) and had random wet spots on the floor, and the sink leaked!!! When I got there (did online check-in- room was ready at 8am!!!
) the two washcloths by the sink were nicely folded but soaking wet- GROSS!!! I couldn't figure out why mousekeeping would have folded wet washcloths!! Then the next morning the entire sink was covered in water! Thank god I moved my iphone that was charging earlier! I called and they said they were going to send someone to fix it, but we were gone all day and when we got back I just wanted to crash. So I called again and told them what was going on and not to send someone that night (it was 7pm) because we were going to bed but checking out the next day.
On the other side, POP warner was going on that week and I never saw one cheerleader at the parks!!! I was at HS tuesday, Epcot on Wednesday and MK Thursday am- never 1 cheerleader!!! I did see a few at DTD Tuesday night, but they were eating dinner with their families!!! Crowd level was the lowest I have ever seen it!!! The only time it was busy was this afternoon at MK- but I was leaving. Weather was hot tuesday and wednesday but not humid- Perfect!!! Today was cool in the am but warmed up around noon- still needed a sweater. If anybody was debating on going now...GO!!!
