Just got back from 4 day on Magic. Here are my tips.

We booked an excursion to atlantis is called Atlantis beach day. It sounds nice, but is really expensive. I wonder get it wonder if we can just take a cab there and look at the hotel and aquarium and use the beach. Let me know please.

The dessert is free!!!!
For the gourmet coffee and liquor there is a charge. I would go to the drink station in the front of the ship, then go to the Cove and get some desserts and sit out on the deck and enjoy.

I didn't realize the dessert was free - can't wait. Another question regarding The Cove: I know it is an adults only place, but can you bring a little one in just to get your beverage or dessert if you are going to enjoy it elsewhere on the ship?

My little one woke up early every morning and we would wander around the ship until everyone woke up. A couple of mornings I took him in the Cove and got a cup of coffee. I just explained to him that it was an adult's-only place and he would have to be still and quiet. He usually sat on the steps at the door. Nobody said a thing about him being there. He loved it in there and would have loved to be able to sit and have a hot chocolate or steamed milk and just hang out like the grownups. I think it is okay if they go in there with you if they are behaved and don't run amok!

Another quick tip - if there is something you see in the gift shops that you want then suck it up and buy it! Nothing hurts as bad as getting home and realizing you want a few more souvenirs with the ship on it and you can't get them anywhere except for on the ship!
