hello everyone

got back on saturday had a wonderful time. The parks were all very busy we did not manage to do shrek this time as the queues were 75mins and it was just too hot. We can never seem to get to the parks early enough.We shopped at a complex near to kissimmee which had a fossil shop, my ds aged 15 bought 4 pairs of fossil jeans for $10 each!!! Went to the golden corral which i would really recommend as they have loads to choose from including steaks also the dragon court chinese at the crossroads was lovely but go early teatime. The hotel we stayed in must have new management as every day they were cutting back on the items available for breakfast he hotel is springhill suites at lake buena vista.

we have bitten the bullet and bought a condo so afer the hurricane we went to see if it was stil standing, although we were not allowed to view ours as it is still being built the developement was ok but so many houses in kissimmee had damage and no power. I would like to thank everyone who contributes to this site all the info has helped me so much

Hi Michelle, Our family loved Golden Coral on the 192, we all have different tastes and they had lots to choose from, we went back quite a few times. One of the waiters was absolutely brilliant, kids called him Mr Spoon man, as he kept his pocket in his apron full of them! Glad to hear you had nice hot weather, not much sun here for a while!

thanks for the messages we have bought ours at venitian bay villages in kissimmee. It has 4 bedrooms and is fully furnished, it does not have a private pool but there is one large heated swimming pool plus 4 smaller pools dotted around the complex. The complex is gated with a gym,tennis court, vollyball court and small cinema room. The cost was just below £100,000 depending on the exchange rate.

We first looked at the area a couple of years ago but chickened out. My dh went out in June he had to put down a small deposit you then have a 14 day cooling off period.

All the condos are painted in pastel colours- we did not enter into this on a whim and no doubt there will be interesting times ahead. But sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and accept hat things can o wrong. We are looking at this as a long term project. If anyone wants more info please feel free to pm me.
