Just Got An Email Code!

well, I called again this morning, and they gave me the rate (after two failed attempts last night) yeah! The CM I had was VERY helpful. Anyway, she told me that I "might want to rebook ""when"" the free dining promotion comes out as that will be a better deal" I asked her if that was a definite, and she said that she hasn't heard anything "official" as of yet, but don't be surprised.

Ooh - I like the sound of that! Hopefully that CM wasn't just teasing you or trying to make you feel better about not getting the code. ;) Hey, whatevah, it worked for me - I feel much better about not getting the code if I know free dining is coming. But then, maybe for the year of a million dreams they'll let you use the code WITH free dining!!! Oh it's just too much!! All the "what if's"...

Hi again, question #2,

People mention that they call Disney to see if there is a pin code attached or to check if they have the right information....anyone know what the phone number is? Is there a 1-800 number?

Thanks,

Monique:dance3:

i did not get a code either, so i logged into the disney website to check my profile to see if i had checked to get email updates, etc. when you go under site map, go down to "my vacations" and it lists "my profile" . after you hit "edit profile" go all the way to the bottom and it says "manage your email preference" and a TON of other options come up. i will probably now get sooooo much junk mail that i will delete any code that is ever sent to me!!!

Hi,

I just called Disney and they said there was a code attached to my name and they said i could get POR in May for 6 nights and that came out to $1,248...that didn't seem like much of a savings.

...she verified my information and said that an email for a code should be coming to me soon.

Who knows,

thanks everyone!

Hmmm...that sure doesn't *sound* like that great of a deal. But at least you had a little sumpthin sumpthin attached :)

I would love a PIN too! I wonder if you have a better chance of getting a pin if you don't go to Disney every year. I mean, if they know you will go every year regardless of getting a pin or not why would they bother giving you a discount. I mean it would be nice for customer appreciation...

At first when I called, they mentioned that I had a code for a value resort but didn't say what it was....then when I mentioned that there were 5 of us going and that we need a moderate (to accomodate 5) she said she would check that....I'm guessing that was not a code rate but the code was only for value....although she did give me a 3 digit code....I don't know.

I just called Disney again and spoke to someone else. He mentioned that my code was for January and February travel dates...not May (which is why that rate was so high). He said that I should be receiving emails from them but since I am not, I should call their research department tomorrow to find out why I am not receiving them.

So what are the numbers that someone would call to get something like that. Especially being in Canada. We are going to the Oct 27th cruise, but we want to stay in Orland a few days before... I am here for some guidance and an addiction.
Anyone can email me

WOW! Congrats on all the pin codes. I used to get them, but for some reason I haven't received one in a long long LONG time. :sad2: They used to come in my maiden name. Not sure why or how, I had never been prior to being married.

Have wonderful trips!

I have been the opposite. I have seen the post on here over the years about others getting a pin and I never got one, so I guess it was just my time.

I've never been provided with a toll-free number for reservations. <boo>:snooty:

I got one of these codes too! No clue how or why.

I almost deleted it thinking it was junk mail. So glad I didn't.

However mine said it was only good for "40% off on standard rooms at select Disney Value Resorts."

But that was fine since what I wanted was a room at Pop. Which I was able to book for $59 a night. :goodvibes

Update: I got my pin code to work thanks due to a wonderful lady at guest services. We are staying at the CR for 9 nights, December 9-18 for 174.43 a night (this includes taxes)!!!! I am so excited we have never been able to stay at a deluxe before and this will be our longest trip so far. Just an FYI I was trying to book WL and they had nothing available except Villas, and AKL had some slim pickings for this promotion as well.

Those whose code did not work, don't give up.

That's great and my fiancee and I feel the same way. With out this pin we would never have been able to book Poly for our Sept 4-13 honeymoon. We are thinking of this as our Disney wedding gift to us.

I just called and found out I have a pin code attached to my household for Feb 15-March 15. When I asked why I wasn't notified about it, the CM said that it is pretty common to have a pin code and not know it.

The bummer is, we need a room for Feb 7- Feb 11 for my daughter's field hockey tournament at Wide World of Sports, so we can't use the code.
