Just Got An Email Code!

Thank you so much for suggesting to call anyway. No, I did not have a code. However, they did not have an email address for me either. So that is now taken care of and I now I have chance in the future of receiving a code.
Thank you again.

I was so excited today when I received the mail. I received a pin code. Then I realized that I won't be able to use it since it is for 2/15-2/16, 2/19-3/7, 3/13-3/30/07. We will be going around the first week of June. It is for a value resort for $83 a night, a savings of $36 per night. I just wish I could give it to someone else but I guess their not transferable.

Will they still send a pin code or email or postcard (anything, please!) if you have an existing reservation?

Congrats to everyone who got a pin code. I used to get them as well. I remember how excited I was when I got the first one for free dining. I would love to get a code for 40% off. Some of those rates for the deluxes were outstanding!

Not too frustrating for me. Between trips in May and December I would only be saving $1,200 on both rooms alltogether if I only for ONCE got a pin code.

Guess I just haven't been loyal enough of a Disney customer.

sometimes i think i am the ONLY person alive who has never gotten a email or postcard code:confused:

woe is me;)

how nice for y'all though, enjoy:banana:

Be neither, but I did call and as some others, no email listed for me even though I have registered online. They send me plenty of things to buy but never a code.:confused3

It happened once. I had a reservation booked with an AP rate and I received a post card a couple of months after I made the ressie.

Don't feel bad, the code fairy doesn't like me either. I've signed up for everything I can think of and if I'm asked to do a survey while I'm at WDW I always say yes. Alas, I've never been blessed with an email or postcard code though.

My son got a postcard code in yesterday's mail (WV). I was shocked. So this confirms my theory that the folks who get it the most are the ones who don't go as often. My son (an adult) has gone with us several times. But not recently. The last time he went was in September 2005 during the free dining. We had to book a room for him in his name because we were moving to the CR mid trip and he was staying at Pop. So the files shows that he has only booked a room once in his life. He did not get the same code as others. He got one for 30% off 2/15-2/16, 2/19-3/7, 3/13-3/30/07/ . It looks like a suitcase and has a specific pin number at the bottom. It has our addrss on it, but his name. However, crunching the numbers, the price is higher than the AP price. They are quoting $83 a night for the Value resorts.

We on the other hand go 4-5 trips a year and have gone to WDW 60 times now (mostly while hubby was a CM for 8 years and we couldn't resist the discount). We are now DVC members & AP holders and have enough points to go 7-9 weeks a year, but are trying to keep our trips down to 4 a year. We seldom book rooms through CRO anymore unless we want to arrive a day early before moving to the DVC resort. We also booked the free DDP last August and bought the package instead of using our points.

So I guess folks will start reporting that they are also receiving this postcard too. I probably also have this code on my name since I called one day to see if I had a code since I have a room reserved for Feb. 3 (which is inside the 40% timeframe) and was told I have a Feb/Mar code attached to my name.

Same here. :sad1:

My DD got the postcard in yesterday's mail too. She is always getting codes, but has yet to use it! She has been to WDW 4 times - once with DH on a first anniversary trip booked thru a TA, but the other three times she and her DDs went with me on trips booked in my name. I have never gotten a post card or email. DD and I have a trip planned for August - pkg. booked thru AAA. The room only code isn't as good a deal as the AAA discount and the dining plan.

My mom received a code, but we didn't, not surprised. My mom went to Disney with us last year for her first trip (our 6th trip). She booked her room under her name. We checked yesterday and she had a pin code for 2/15 - 3/30 (we were quoted $100 off a night at the Beach Club). We never have received a code in 6 years, we are scheduled for our 7th trip in June.

So, I am also with the theory that the less you have gone, with not trip scheduled, you are more likely to get a code! Too bad for us, hoping for that elusive code someday.

I got a code!!! I have never stayed onsite before, and now I have booked the CBR. I included 1 day base tickets, and the dining plan for 4 adults (kids will be 11 and 13 at time of trip). Total came to $1873.80 for 6 nights in Dec. This is exciting!!

We've stayed on-site 7 times in the last 10 years, the last time being this past August, and I received the e-mail code. This is the second time I received a code, the last time using a postcard code to book the Poly in April, 2005. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you guys will get one of the postcards that seem to be going out to a lot of people right now.

I had made a ressie for my grandfather about 2 years ago using his name and my address and my contact info. Since then I have been getting post cards with his name, my address, with pin codes for discounts. I just got one in the mail and it says to pick a trip using this little circular hat thing. It has a ton of dates in all different months. I have never gotten a post card in my name in the mail or email and we go 1-2 times per year. Now that we are DVC'ers, we still stay at non DVC WDW resorts, but never get a discount code sent to us, and we've been going for years before we were DVC members. I really seem to think the less often you visit, the better chance you have at getting a postcard or email.

Anyone know if I can use this pin code for a ressie in my name?

Also received pin code in the mail. Mine included dates through Dec. 2007. Of course the week we were really thinking of going 10/13-20, isn't a week listed. Don't know if we could do any other weeks, but would hate to lose the code. Also received a mailer for last May...couldn't use that one either!!!
