Just Got An Email Code!

I want a pin code too :sad1: . I have never received one before and have even called to check. We are planning a fall trip and it would sure help alot. They even have my email.

Hi.

This is the first time I have gotten an e-mail pin and have been going to WDW for years. I thought I would never get one so I'm sure your turn will be soon.
 
I just called for a lark to see and I do have a pin code attached to my name - it was only good for Jan - Feb.

They also checked my email and they had it wrong, they had it with a d-a-s-h instead of an u_n_d_e_r_s_c_o_r_e so that explains why I have not been getting the emails.

Good point. When I was checking on dates about 4 months ago they were looking at my info and told me that they didn't have a good e-mail address for me even though I have given it to them before.
 
I had an email issue too. For some reason they had an email address from 8 years ago when I know I have given them our current 6 year email address many times.
 
subscribing...and hopeful to receive an email as this will be the ONLY way I will be getting there in the next three years!
 
I called MS today also. No pin code attached to our household. He said Disney sends them out periodically and not everyone gets them at the same time. He said "we should get one soon". Will keep my fingers crossed.

I'd love to get one for our May trip, need to add one more night to our stay and I have been waiting for AP discounts patiently.

I called too...only code I have is for January and February. That's alright though....I'm glad I called. That kind of not knowing would have bothered me. Here's hoping for everyone to get codes for their EXACT travel dates!!! Haha! :)
 
So excited we saved over $800 based on the rack rate for a garden view at Poly.....saved $400 from our original reservation of CR GW...so I feel good about it. The CM said not to even bother with Free Dining if it's offered (he seemed to think it would be) because we were saving more than what it was worth. This is our first time on the monorail so I'm soooo excited!!!:cool1:
 
A freind of mine received the email and had a hard time booking as it was sent to an old email address which is not registered to her name with Disney (if that makes any sense). Eventually she was able to book - her offer was 40% of a Value Resort for differnt time periods. She booked us into POP in mid December for just under $50/night + tax.
 
I just called and was told that I have codes for Jan and Feb (not going then). Then when she reviewed my info, my email was listed as that of my AAA TA! I of course corrected that but it might be wise to call and make sure they have your correct email address.

But will your May date fall within the available times for the special pin code? May discounts are only available for May 28-June 3. Most of May is excluded from the discount times. I'm going early May so the pin won't help me.

I've been watching this thread and so far I've only seen room only discounts, maybe someone will post if they got it off of a package. I guess it's too new to know exactly what it's for, other than the very specific dates allowed.
 
I also received this email, and i was THRILLED...we're planning on going in October anyway, so I called and we're saving over $200!! But I thought the code was just for value resorts...it applies to other resorts, too?

Hi.

I'm not sure if this is a question or not, but we were able to use it for a GV room at Poly for Sept 4-11 at $222.08 a night including tax (redular rate was $371 a night with tax). Without this code we would not have been able to stay here for our honeymoon.
 
Well, I called and I was told there is no pin attached to my name even though I have the email right here that says "Dear (my last name) Family" with a pin. The first guy couldn't find it, and ultimately hung up on me, so I called back a second time and she said sorry there is nothing here and kept asking if it was sent to me or in someone else's name. I think it's quite silly that I have the email and there is nothing they can do. I'm going to shoot off a comlaint email right back to where the email came from. Oh well. :confused3

Call back and ask to speak to someone in Guest Relations, they should be able to help find your name in the system.

Hi.

I have heard others on here say the same thing. Some are told the info privided doesn't match up exactly or something like that. I would definately complain about this. I would call and ask for a supervisor because I know they have them in the call center. Good luck.
