Just Got An Email Code!

I'm so excited, I got the email code also:cool1: :cool1:

I just booked a waterview room at the Yacht Club for 8/25 -8/30 for $231 plus tax per nighte and a Magic Kingdom view room at the Poly for the same dates for $273 plus tax per night.

Hello Fairy Godmailer! Lucky lucky you!!! I have the Poly booked a week later - though I'm garden view for 279/night. Blast! How am I going to get one of those codes?!?!?! pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Oh an incidently, for those also praying for pixie dust....I called CRO to see if "by chance" there was a code attached to my name (nope!:headache: ), and the very nice CM told me that it is very easy for them to look up pin codes, to just call periodically to check - "no problem" (she was GREAT!). Though she also said that the current batch of codes are only running for travel dates through the end of March (now we all know that was not correct).

DW and I are looking to book for December. If anyone isn't planning to use their code Just send me a PM and I will give it a shot. I don't know if they are transferrable or not, but willing to try.

Did anyone have trouble using the pin in the email they told me that they would not honor the code because they could not find it in their system and would not give me the discount:headache:

I would call them back and check again.

Sorry to say, but post cards and pin codes are not transferrable. I'm sure you will get one soon.
 

I just called to see if there was a code associated with my name or address and the CM I was speaking with said "no". I went on to mention I couldn't understand why I wasn't getting any email offers and was shocked to have her tell me it's because the records indicate I had requested *not* to receive any correspondence via email! I have signed up/registered on every Disney website I ever went to and have never opted out of receiving email. She corrected it for me...so I'll wait and see if I get anything in the future. So, to make a long story short, those of you that have never received any offers via email might want to call and make sure your profile is correct.

I called Disney just to ask "do I have a PIN attached" to my name? A very nice CM told me I did one but it was for room only. He then asked me if we were planning a trip and I told me maybe March or September. He gave me some quotes, I didn't book because we're still thinking about it. Our PIN was 18% off of room rates.
 
I need 12/9/07 through 12/14/07 so i hope the code comes soon.

Question for those of you who received pin/email codes. Do you book your trips through CRO normally? Or do you use a travel agent? I book through AAA and am wondering if that is why I have never received a code. :confused3
 
Thank you! I called, and I was able to get the code rate for entire stay, even though most of our trip falls after the last day the code is valid. Saved enough that we decided to stay an extra night.
 
I got the email yesterday. Called today (twice) and was told both times that my code did not show up. I am really upset. I have just emailed Disney to see if I can fix this. 40% off would really help. Anybody else have any ideas to fix this situation? This is my first email code, and doesn't it figure......sheesh!

Hey Tonnie............I think that those people down in Orlando are just trying to tease us up here in Western New York. We all know who has the better weather! :rotfl: I was all set to book 10 days and don't ya know it, the PIN doesn't work.
 
Has it occurred to anyone that the timeframe that this discount is happening is during the new Disney "quiet weeks". Crazy as it seems, I have 4 trips planned and didn't think any of them were during busy times, but none are within any of these timeframes except the now-Feb 7 one. I didn't get a pin mail either and both hubby and myself have been registered on the disney website, disney shopping (he's a former CM for the catalog), been to WDW for 60 trips now, DVC, DDE, AP, book via the phone, book via the website, going into our 3 different profiles (I have two because I forgot I created one) and made sure we were still listed to receive all info and we didn't get anything. It's probably because we are frequent visitors and average 4-6 trips a year. So there is no rhyme or reason why some get the emails and some do not. Of course I could call and check because I have called in the past and was told I had a pin next to my name, but my AP rate was better.

This really breaks my heart. We are going December 7-16 and would LOVE to stay at a nicer resort and could with this discount. But of course, I received no email. I'm on every Disney mailing list there is and NEVER receive pin codes.:confused:

Called this morning to see if there was a pin code attached to my name. I was informed by a rude CM that there wasn't.
