Just got an email about pre booking character meets

i just received an email from concierge that we will be able to pre book character meets for our upcoming cruise. Is this new? Do I get to chose any date or time?

I just received the notice too. I have an email in to Concierge about it. I've also asked about beverage tastings.

We sail April 1st. I guess we got the email because our 120 day had already past. You should let them know what meet and greets you want in your first email.

Just got ours as well. When do they typically have the Meet and Greets? Would like to schedule but don't want it to conflict with anything else.
FYI we are sailing next month.

We sailed on the Dream 4 day Bahamas cruise on February 15th in a Concierge verandah room. We were not given the option to prebook a character meeting. However, they did give us a ticket to meet Anna & Elsa. There was almost no wait at the time we went since it was the end of the character's window. This was in addition to the meet & greet on the Concierge sun deck, which was Pluto dressed as a sailor though I'm told it sometimes can be different.

From the message, it sounds like soon EVERYONE will be pre-booking these, but for right now, Concierge guests are being offered the opportunity first.

It does make more sense to book them online, like everything else (BBB, Palo, port adventures, etc.)

I agree with anricat. I just hope they put it in place in time for my April cruise.... Would love to not have to run to wait in line for this when I first get on board!

A ton of people on our Fantasy meet board(Nov 28, 2015) put it on the survey at the end of the cruise, because the line was ridiculous. Alot of people didn't get gingerbread house tickets, yet there was plenty of space in the restaurant for those that did. Guessing others complained about it too. Fingers crossed.

That would be amazing. I don't sail until August, but not concierge. It would be a great benefit to be able to book early. Has anybody contacted their TA to see if they have the inside scoop?

I got a reply from concierge. I'm on a 4 night Dream in May. There were several choices on Nassau Day and tons of choices on the sea day. More options for Frozen than Princesses.

This is great because we have BBB reservations on our sea day so we can make sure our meet and greets are right after that.

Does anyone know which are the latest cruises that have offered this? Sounds like April and May cruises. Has anyone with a summer cruise received an email like this?
