I just recieved a survey from Disney asking me about booking to FTP. Did the FTP change your mind on how may trips you were taking to WDW this year? Did it change your mind on how long you were going to visit WDW? Did it change your mind on where to stay during your visit?

I made it very clear that the FTP is allowing us to both extend our stay and stay on site instead of on site. I hope that the results of this survey will show Disney that they are making more money by offering discounts like this, because without them I wouldn't be going at all.

I just received and completed the same survey today.

Coincidentally, I emphasized the same things as you: the FTP enabled us to stay longer and stay on-site.

Hopefully there are many more responses like this. I would like to return sometime soon but won't do it unless there's a package to make it worthwhile.

Princesslondon: I recieved an e-mail asking me to take the survey. It stated that a "small but significant" number of guests who had booked upcoming vacations were selected to participate.

I just received one yesterday but it was about Super Soap Weekend. They are thinking about a 3 day cruise INSTEAD of holding it at MGM Studios. I emphatically stated NO WAY would I attend because SSW fits in with my annual WDW vacation in November. Now, if I can only receive a postcard rate for November, I would be really happy.

I got a phone call survey, just last night!!!
I too made it very clear that the only reason I planned a vacation this year was due to the FTP otherwise I was not going until August of 2004.
I do hope they offer this deal next year as there will be 10 of us going and it would be nice to stay for 7 nights at the cost of 4. I will definately upgrade to the Poly rather than stay at a moderate.
Keeping my fingers crossed!

I got the survey too. Mine wanted to know if I was going in July, Augutst, Sept, or Oct. Since we are going in Nov on the FTP I said no and the survey told me they are only looking for guests visiting in July, Aug, Sept, or Oct and ended the survey. I guess the survey was made before they extended the FTP????

I received it via email also. Focus on the FTP, J/A/S/O question, etc. I feel so select ! ;)

Add me to the list...I also stated how pleased we are with the FTP, mostly because we love the thought of UPH passes, otherwise we would've had 5 day hoppers. I also stated how we planned a trip based on FTP, that we did not have plans to visit this year UNTIL it came out. I also answered (truthfully) that I became aware of FTP thru the DISBOARDS...:p Gotta love this site!

I wonder if they are going to survey any annual passholders to see how they like the FTP or how it will affect their trips?

The FTP was supposed to be about a 43% discount for 7 nights. Hopefully when the AP rates come out they will be about 43% off. :D

I got my survey via email yesterday--the only way they would have gotten my email is from registering at the official site. I made sure I checked the box to be contacted for future surveys!! Here is the email I received. I assume I'm allowed to post it? I took out the links to the survey though.

Thank you for selecting the Walt Disney World® Resort for your upcoming vacation.

I got the survey by email too but since we are going in November I didn't get to complete the full survey.
