I received an e-mail this morning with a PIN code. I called to see if we could apply it to our trip Dec 18-22. At first the cm couldn't find it. She then looked again and checked for availability. We had booked the CR with a theme park view. The PIN code was good for a tower room, but with a bay lake view. The rate was $932 less than our theme park view. I told her I'd have to talk to the kids and husbands before I switched rooms. I then decided to call back and talk to a different cm. They always seem to have different answers so I figure I'd try again. The cm couldn't find the PIN code attached to our household. I then went back and looked at my e-mail. There was a different last name on the letter from Disney Destinations. She put me on hold to check with guest services. I looked through the white pages to see where these people were from. I live in Texas but got a family from Washington's pin code. She said it appeared at first that we had the same e-mail. I then started to wonder if we've had pin codes before, but maybe they were sent to the other people. After being put on hold for about 20 minutes, she came back on and said they switched the name on the pin code to our name instead of theirs. They then checked to computer and saw that it was definitely our e-mail address, not theirs. They switched everything over. I feel bad for the other family if they are waiting for a PIN code. They don't have it anymore. Disney has screwed up on their e-mail address. So, if you are from Wautoma WA and waiting for a code, you won't get it. I know the family's name, so if you are from there, e-mail me to confirm this is not you. If it is, you need to call Disney and get your name and e-mail address straight with them.

After a thirty minute phone call, I decided to not switch to the bay lake view. My kids have their hearts set on the theme park view.

when I called this morning. I'm thinking about trying again tomorrow. Was your code for room only or a package.
HTe email i received is confusing. I have made a reservation at rack rate, but would love a discount.

Thanks

Just wondering what rates it said in the email for January? I am praying for a pin code!
Also, how much per night did you get the room at the contemporary for?

add me to the list...

today i get an email and i was so excited and it was for someone with somone else's last name, but of course my email :(

The e-mail I got was a 5-night/6-Day Package at Select Disney Value Resorts including Theme Park tickets for $371 per adult. It said this was a savings of $93 per adult. The park tickets were for one park a day (no hoppers). It then said to call about other room types, length of stay and other resorts including deluxe villa resorts, that are available at varying rates, including a special room-only offer.

The rates were for Sept-Dec. I mistakenly typed January. Sorry if I confused anyone.

For the disboard member who got the same e-mail with somebody else's name on it. I would call like I did and tell them your pricing a vacation. When she can't find it, keep giving her the pin code. They will be able to see what household it was supposed to belong to and then check to see if you both have the same e-mail or not. I think ours got mixed up by a cm entering data for our vacations. I think I might have booked first, and then maybe the other family got the same cm right after me. They entered his first and last name, but never changed the e-mail address.

As for the price of the rooms at the CR, we booked a tower theme park view, dining plan, travel insurance and one-day base tickets. It was $3561. We have unused days on our tickets from a previous trip.

I got the same email on the same email address that I use to book my vacations and it came in my Ex's name, the ex I booked a trip with but cancelled a couple of years ago. So annoying!
