Just got a pin code for Oct, Nov and Dec

So I called to just get a price. The CM quoted me $1,737 for 2A/2C at Movies from 11/20-25 with park hoppers. This was not right since that was around what I got online. I called again. The problem was I told him just a standard room not preferred. The pin was tied to a preferred room and when I switched it lost it . So, the preferred room at movies was 1,426.98. I could do a standard room at Music or Pop for $1,359.18.

We decided not to go, but it was nice to get a pin finally. Maybe next year!

If you got the same email that I believe a lot of us got, I cannot see anywhere on it where it says anything about room only. It says "at select disney value resorts including theme park tickets."

My discount is for 50% off the room.

My email actually clearly says to call for the "special room only discount offer". I went back and double checked. I'm not sure why they'd include that if there isnt one other than to get you to call and then sell you the package or the rack rate room only.

I received the pin offer also. Happy ever after offer same as Luv2travel. I called today. CM quoted a standard room 11/4 - 11/12 8 nights MYW dining and 8 day park hooper for 2187. at ASMU or preferred room at 2289 at all star movies. We already have a AAA for 11/4 same package for 2089. at POP century preferred. The CM said it was only a discount on room. I am hoping for a Disney Visa code soon. I think the park passes may have increased today .

I called and reserved with the PIN code that I got in an email.

I think it is a good deal considering just the room and base tickets without the PIN was $985.53.

Almost like having free dining in October!!!

I have an alternate email and the pin code showed up there. My travel agent was able to apply the code to both my reservation at OKW and my brother's. (We are a GG group.) We both saved $600 on our reservations. It makes having to stay at OKW a bit easier to take now.

Got the email today as well.......boy did I have trouble with getting the room only applied....the girl I spoke to put me on hold over 10 times and still couldn't figure it out! UGHHH She finally put me through to disney reservations (who I thought I was speaking to!) and the gentleman who very helpful....although for some reason he could not get the code to work for me for room only he was still able to get me a discount........I am staying 2 of the nights at Poly (rest is DVC stay).......so he saved me over $250. Needless to say I am thrilled (but the orginal girl I spoke to deleted one of the people who is staying with us....so had to fix that,..grr....but hey I did save!!!!

I received the code this morning. I spoke with a very helpful CM. I have an ap so I asked if I could still use the code and she said yes, all I would do is purchase the one day base ticket (same deal as free dining). These are the rates I got for 12/15-12/23 with 2A/1C w/ base ticket:

ASM 714 w/ dining 1620.43
Poly 2970 w/ dining 3876.35
GF 3487.52 w/ dining 4393.87

She said the values were 69 a night room only, poly was 285 and gf was 330.

I asked her if this rate was better than the usual ap discount and she said yes. I hope this helps someone.

We just got the email pin offer too. It saved us $522 on our trip but they also had a hard time getting our pin to work but in the end got it to take. It is worth the call

I'm not a Mom's Club member and got a Pin - and as I mentioned it came in my former last name, so I'm clueless what kind of mailing list they could have utilized. I gave the pin # to the TA to see, but if early November is gone then we are out too, as that is when we are going.

Just realized this pin came under my husbands email and I have no idea how they got that email address.

My TA said she told them it was my married name & they were able to use it. Now I'm wondering if I'll have to bring my marriage license or something - I left TA a message asking so I'll know. Plenty of time to find out & work out - the important thing is she was able to use it.

so i got the same email promotion and called about room only because it did say that was available, the cm told me you had to get a pkg so she added 1 day base tickets. i worked the same thing out online and it was a savings of only$30 at the poly. what kind of code is that? i hope you all have better luck. i will try again in the morning maybe another cm will have better luck

There must be a couple different codes out there. My email definately says tickets are include. And my discount is for values during regular season is $49/night.

Ok I am soooo excited!!!! I checked my email this morning and I saw that I had something from Disney Destinations. It was a pin code for the dates I was traveling!!!!! The only problem was that it was for 5nights/6 days at a value and I am going for 9nights/10days. So I called anyway and I got an awesome upgrade!!!! I was orginally booked at All Star Movies with 7 day park hopper for $1571. With my code I am now staying at Port Orleans Riverside for $1560. I know that difference is very little but if I upgraded like I wanted to without the code it would have cost me $600 more!! I am soo happy that i finally got a code. The women I spoke to was beyond nice and she was just as excited as i was. I plan on writing to Disney and tell them how awesome she was. Thanks for listening and keep looking for those codes....they are out there!!

First pin I ever received and I can't use it . We are checking in 12/4. Gee we are going during what is supposed to be one of the slowest times & no discount. Oh well, we only owe another $200 on our room and I plan on paying that this month. At least we are fortunate enought to be going to Disney. I am grateful we can afford to go.

I got the same email/code. But I'm confused. My code came in my former name. I remarried in 2005, so while I got the code it is not my married name. I sent the code to the TA I went through to see if I can still use it, but haven't heard back yet. I'm assuming since I went through a TA they have to apply it -right? Or can I call and try? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really confused.

I started researching disney this year (2008), and didn't put that last name on anything I signed up for. Not the vacation planning DVD or the monthly email newsletters. So I'm not sure how it got my former name.

Will they let me use it? If it is associated with an address - we bought a house after we married - so it wouldn't be the right last name or address at this point. Course, I don't have a clue what mailing list it pulled me from to get that name. It is my email address though.

Same with me except only my first name was on the email. When I called I found out and they would let me use it if I wanted to. I was surprised since I have been to WDW since my marriage and they have my new name and the new name is linked with my email.

We have AP and they said that it was only for the package. I am wondering if anyone has been able to just get a room only with this code and if it's worth it to try again with another CM. Thanks for any help!!

I got an email code today but it was under my fathers name ... I help him with all his travel needs so they have my email address for his account.
I called to see about rates and they said I could not use the code becuase it was under another name ... my dad's name and address.
We are going Nov. 7-10 and sure could have used that code ... I guess I will just have to wait and see if they give me one under my name too ...

I was able to book a pirate room at the CBR for our trip this summer ... I am super excited about that ....
