Just got a pin code for Oct, Nov and Dec

I got the same response. They wanted me to purchase at least one day tickets. I bought our tickets at UT and have a AAA room only rate. I was wondering why they said anything about a "special Room Only Rate" if indeed there is not one. I'm wondering if it's worth calling back and trying again. I have to go through Grand Gathering and I already feel like I know all those people, I don't want them to get sick of me calling.

Hmmm, I have a similiar situation, sort of. I have a 9n/10day trip at CBR booked with AAA rate also. I bought tickets, but at the same time I booked my room, he said prices were going up in a few days and that to use AAA, it was room only for me to book it. I had asked if I could apply discount if I got one later and he said yes. Now, I"m wondering if I jumped the gun and should have just waited. I'm afraid that a package deal through disney visa is all that will be released at this time, and room only will be later, if at all and that will be harder to get. Does anyone know, if I already bought tickets through them(at the same time I booked the AAA room), will they be able to put my tickets and room together to make a package and use a package discount?

Boy, waiting for and wondering whether you'll be able to use a code sure can be stressful, lol!

Just got a pin code, there was two options in it:

1) from 10/02/08 to 11/25/08, "select" value rooms for $99 a night, which is a $20 a day saving.

2) on select dates 8/10-9/27/08, 10/19-11/1/08, 11/9-11/15/08 and 12/7-12/13/08, get 30% off non-discounted room rates.

I called, unfortunately it doesn't help me much for the days I'm traveling. Oh well, hopefully better deals coming...

I don't have a trip planned, but big savings just might get me off the bench and into the game. I just called to see how much my PIN might save on a possible trip. FWIW...

----> POR: $2310.19 with PIN ($440 savings over rack rate)
----> Pop: $1974.03 with PIN ($334 savings over rack rate)

same deal w/o dining

Hmmmm.... knocking 25% off of a package does sound enticing. Now I'll stew on it for a few days.

Got a pin code!! (not part of a mom's club )

Our travel is Oct 17 - 24 - 7 nights Pop Century - $1600 (+ not sure exact)
with a pin code $1200 (app) The savings came out to be $400 (and change)

Better than what it was yesterday!! (Free dining is still a better deal, but we couldnt go during free dining this year, dining plan will cost us $840, so we're debating skipping it this year!)

Yes!! I finally got my first PIN code.

I saved $618 off my trip in Dec. at CBR. We are staying for 7 nights.
I am so happy!

We just got this code in the mail (I'm not in any Mom's group).

I called and our trip was going to cost: $3300
With discount: $2900 ($400 savings)

I'm very happy, but I was a little shocked that it was only a 10% discount (actually a little under).

We are staying at Wilderness Lodge and on Deluxe Dining. The cool thing is that our trip starts Dec. 22 (within the discount period) and so the CM told me it applies to our whole trip!

I'm just curious why other people said they saved so much more money on a vacation that started out costing less? Any ideas?

I received an email also with a code.... at my email address, but with my sisters name... this is how I think I got mine, my Sister had booked (while she was at Disney last Sept 2007 on free dining) a "bounce back" offer for this September 2008, she booked 2 rooms, one for her, and one for me and my parents...that is why it was in her name, with my email address...well, we couldn't go this past september, and cancelled the ressies... an lo and behold, the email with the code... that would be the only way they got the combo of her name and my email....anyway, they didn't have any rooms available for our dates 10/16-20 at the resort we wanted, POP.... and they didn't have a room only discount with the PIN I received (although he would let me use the PIN, even though it was in my Sister's name).... still waiting on AP rates , he said they didn't have any yet, and didn't know when they would be coming out with them

FYI .... Even with the room-only rate with the PIN code, the rate at POP was better with a AAA discount.... by about $30.00 (4 nights a POP standard view was $400.55 with PIN or $378.68 with AAA discount)... also, make sure you specify whether or not you want the insurance... they quote the price with insurance, even if you don't ask.... it was automatic

We got a pin code vie email (same offer as intial post on this thread). Actually it went to my Mom but since she is going with us we could use it. We're staying at Ft. Wilderness, I just asked if we could apply the code and we saved $771! I'm not sure of the per night cost, the CM just gave me a new total balance - we're VERY HAPPY!
I had a vacation planning DVD sent to each of us going on the trip as well as signing everyone up on the Disney site. I'm not sure what got the code to my Mom. As a Dad I'm not in any Mom's Club - LOL

Is the pin code everyone talking about "Once upon a dream Disney resort offer" ?? That is the title of the email I got. So if this is it, I got it too. I honestly am not planning to go til May, but this sure tempts me!!! I am not apart of any Moms panel or whatever, either.

DH has *almost* agreed! I have to go to Orlando for a conference Nov. 17-21 and I think he is close to agreeing to go the week prior with DS and yank him out of kindergarten! Woo hoo!

My question now is -- how fast do these rooms go? Do you think there are any left? We are waiting to see how big my raise is in the next few weeks. My employer will most likely pay my airfare and we have a credit on SW to cover DH, so we would only have to pay for DS's ticket then the WDW package.

We got this card too, and I have some questions if anyone can help:

Does the PIN apply only to the dates listed I ask becuase the last date shown as "good" was 12/23, yet the end of the card says "book by 12/23"?

Seems kinda odd wording there.

Lastly, do codes ever come out for the summer holidays? My wife is a teacher (and daughter in school) so it's hard for us to get away except in the Summer.

I just got this e-mail also. Unfortunately, I can't use the pin. Although the pin came to MY e-mail address, the e-mail is addressed to my Mom and only she can use the pin. Why are they sending my mom e-mails at my address? Don't know. I made a reservation last year for my extended family of 9 people. Her name is listed first on the reservation - maybe that's why. Sucks to be me today. I was hoping to use this code for my October ressie. Know what's the worst? They even sent me another e-mail later in the day and guess what? Same e-mail.....to my Mom.

try again, it depends on the CM that you speak with, but you should be able... even if it comes to your home address (post card type) with the wrong name they will USUALLY let you use it... or if a maiden name is on it etc... I say try again!

hi we got the pin today in the mail the 371 per for 5nite/days at a value

we had a booked and payed for in full trip
on 11/3 to 11/13 10 nites 11 days with basic dining and 10 day park hoppers 2 adults 1 kid 2 babys

so we are done booked payed for and even have mvmhp tix payed for

today we get the postcard

nice cm says gime the # she runs it says were paying 100 more with the pin???

i think its cause she split it 2 packages 5 nites each and 12 days tix we had 10 days tix??

my wife starts to talk nice to the cm how my kids is soooo looking foward to the trip etc etc

wala she rusn the numbers again i guess as 1 package and says

we have the exact same package as we booked and payed for
but we are getting $565 back on our card!!

so wow i am so happy even toyed with upgrading to a mod. but why press my luck and just take the money and run!!!

I've finally convinced DH to take the plunge and he had agreed to go Nov 11-16 and only take DS out of kindergarten for a few days. Last night he says, well, what's a few more days so go ahead and add on the rest of the week.

Soooo, I just got off the phone with a delightful CM and we are paying $2057 for the three of us at ASMovies for 9 nights, 10 days, 7 days of tickets plus the dining plan. The CM ran the same booking without the pin and we are saving around $510 off! That pays for the DDP easily.

Now just to get rid of the guilt of him missing a week of kindergarten.

I say we sorta booked because we put a 14 day hold on the ressie. I've never done that before and it makes me nervous so hopefully DH will not back out between now and our $200 deposit!

My sister just got an email with a pin code for 40% off! Actually there were two options:

We have been thinking about an early December trip with our sons and our mother. I just called and booked 2 rooms at the Beach Club, water view for 4 nights (Dec 8 - 12) for a savings of $711.04 (each room) off rack rate! We had wanted the Contemporary but it wasn't available. There were not many options available.
