Just got a nice member discount on cash ressie at VB...

We have been deciding what to do for the weekend between our OKW stays for some time.......well, DD #1 will be spending the weekend with my friend in the Ft. Lauderdale area so it will be me, DH and DD's #2 and #3 in a studio at VB. I got a great rate of $138.75 plus tax per night for Friday and Sat. night stay. Points were 58. I chose the cash ressie.

We are still on the waitlist for a 2 BR at VB too!!

I am unfamiliar with member cash discounts. Did you call MS or the resort directly?

I called MS directly and they had the member discount in their inventory. Not quite sure how many rooms/villas are allotted for a discount. There is no discount available for the 1 BR which I was hoping for because I was looking for a little more privacy for me and DH and having come from a 2 BR............

Anyways, I am very happy with the rate and wanted to let everyone know!!!!!!!!!!!
Now just to convince DH to add on at VB will be the ultimate!!!

rbuzzotta. Great to hear We got the same for 2 nights for a 1BDR we needed for OKW this summer.Was not expecting it around the 4th. Enjoy your stay!

Maistre Gracey: We just called MS to book our stay and was not expecting the member discount for the time of yr. It is 25% based on avail. Somebody that knows more may be able to tell us how they decide when to offer member discounts on cash nights.It can be a nice feature for extending your stay by paying cash, than exhausting a bunch of points for the weekend nts.

Forgot to add. Received the 1BDR discount right at the 7month window.
