Just got a nice little package from Disney . . .

We received one. We booked our Sept trip back in March and recvd it shortly after booking. It is so neat. I love the little maps. ...I just assumed that everyone recvd them.

they said until we are paid in full, nothing will be sent to us.

That makes sense as far as I'm concerned then, I always pay in full when I make the reservation.

I was thinking.. Could this packet be the final trip documents that Disney sents you? I think they told me you get luggage tags with it.

Just for clarification, I don't mean the ME luggage tags.

I got one and didn't pay in full. It isn't that great, it is a form letter with your name on it and some maps. You won't be able to use them in place of the maps you get at the actual park, though as there are no times on them. Sorry I tossed mine, I'd have sent it to someone.

And, no, it doesn't have anything to do with ME.

Just for clarification, I don't mean the ME luggage tags.

No, this is not the same as your final documents. It's just a little packet that gives you a place to store your trip planning paperwork and also includes the booklet with all the mini maps in it. The final trip/ME documents are totally different. Hope that helps!

I asked today when I was making an AR an the guy gave me many reasons why I did not get one, I was not paid in full- yes I am, they are not for everyone- why not and finally... don't worry what other people get! I wanted to aks him who he was, my mother?

We booked with a online Disney travel site and they sent us all kinds of maps and stuff when we go our final documents. They even sent the kids stuff too.

I am a WDW local and when I book a resort room at least a week or so out, i receive one. I dont receive one if i book a room just a few days out, tho. You don't have to be a first time guest as someone previously posted to receive one.

Those packets sound great. I booked over the phone with Disney and paid in full at the beginning of June (for an August trip), and haven't received anything except my confirmation letter. I hate to sound like a whiney kid, but I want a packet, too!

True -- this is the 2nd time we've received one. We do book WAY in advance, but never, never pay the hotel until we check out. Maybe since we book room only? Does it depend on the hotel you book through? When we do book 2 resorts and switch halfway, we have never received a second packet... the mystery continues...
