Just got a call re Garden Grill - no more Lunch

Received a phone message from Disney Dining and they stated that after October 9th (I believe that was the date) that the Garden Grill would no longer be serving lunch. They stated I had to change my ressies I had for Friday, December 26th.

Anyone know about this? Is this a permanent change?

Yes, they announced that awhile back (there are lots of threads about it but probably a few pages back). It's a permanent change.

I had already booked a new restaurant, but the CM apparently didn't cancel my GG one. So I got my call yesterday telling me. But it was announced on here a couple weeks ago.

Ahhh - I haven't been on the restaurant thread for awhile. I thought I couldn't have been the first one to hear about this so I even did a thread search for Garden Grill - the latest one it showed me was from January but not regarding this. I'll see if I can find the other ones...thx!!!
