Just got a 40% PIN Code!

I am guessing the email is from Disney Destinations????

I have gotten several pin codes via snail mail but never through email. I am hoping this will be my first. :) I see a few of you are in FL. I am hoping this email finds its way across the border into GA. :thumbsup2

Denise
I'm in Ga & got the email. We upgraded to AP last month when we were there. Everytime I have gone everything has been booked in dd's name. The other day I went online and "priced" 3 different stays and saved them but didn't book. Got a survey asking why I didn't book and now I got the pin code.

Got one...already booked at 40% off for our upcoming....Wish I could book another!

lol me too! when I texted my Dis buddy (who is in WDW now)I said oh no! Now what....she of course asked if I was going to book another trip....:lmao:not if I want to stay married!! LOL

hmm I called today after I got this PIN to try to use it for our December trip and they said it wasnt available for the Cabins. :(

Anyone know anything else?

oh man.. this really stinks.. The only place we wanted to stay was the Fort Wilderness Cabins..

So, this PIN code will not work on any dates for the Wilderness Cabins?
Why???????????? :(

I'm an AP holder, but didn't get the code.:sad1: I currently have free dining booked for Sept 26th-Oct 4th, but would prefer the 40% off code.

Have you updated your profile lately. The newer version on the disney website now has a place for you to enter your passholder number. In the past it never did. I went online and updated everyone's account and added the passholder number to their accounts and that has to be why I received SIX pin emails. BTW -- while all of the emails came to six different accounts and some to me and some to hubby, they ALL had the same pin number. But the one to my daughter (different address) had a different pin number. They all acknowledged that I'm (we're) passholders.

I booked the All Star Movies Dec 3rd-6th for 166 dollars. I am not kidding.:yay:

Thats what I spend in Starbucks over a couple months! :rotfl2:

We're going to keep trying for Pop--the cast member said that people are calling and recalling and changing every 5 minutes. :lmao:

We're DVC members--but no way am I passing up this.

Yesterday I recieved the pin code and I'm NOT an AP holder. It came to me via Email and is titled: "40% off a Disney stay!". It's good for the following dates:

8/23–9/4/09
9/6–11/21/09
11/29–12/5/09
12/13–12/23/09

and I have to book by Sept. 24, 2009.

Arrrgggh, I just returned from a trip to the Poly in May and now my brain is racking to see if I can rush back. I already was looking at a return trip in Sept. of 2010. Doh:headache:. Disney pressure, Disney pressure, Disney pressure.

Such a dilemma isn't it??? :rotfl2:

GOOD...
I am an AP user and I wanted to go for:rotfl2: a quick holiday stay Thru the 23rd...
PRAYING I get a CODE...MaYybe I should CALL. LOL.

I received the same e-mail to both my addresses yesterday. I got this same e-mail back in January. I booked then and got BC standard for two nights Dec. 13 & 14 total of 452.24. (201. night) We are flying in on the 10th, so the other two nights 11th & 12th are with AAA at 640.70 total. (284.75 night) I know Pop Warner week is there which I guess is why Dec. 6-12 is not part of the 40% off. :sad2: Hoping there might be better offer as we get closer for the other two nights.

We are all AP holders and got 5 40% off Pin Code emails yesterday! LOL! :rotfl: Now I have to see if I can use them... I have some number crunching to do... :surfweb:

I know, that is the worst! Receiving a pin code and being unable to use it....has happened to me, but darn I am going to use it for my Sept trip!!
I looked at my email as a parting gift for my annual pass that expires soon...lol..not renewing til next Sept...
congrats to all who received one....and for those who didnt.....just stay on their sites, update etc as previously suggested:)

DH & I each got one this week. We both have APs & have already been twice this year. We rented points for 2 nights in Oct for F&W, maybe we'll go ahead & stay 3 nights.

I also got one. Called to change my reservation, CM said it was for APs or Fl residents only. She could not explain why I received one since I'm not a passholder or Fl resident. I called back and received the same story from a 2nd CM.

This was an email distribution. I got it both at the email I used to buy the AP, and the email I have registered for my AP (yeah, they're different).

I think this is targeted at AP holders as it was cleared stated as a Passholder thing, in the email. Although it could be Southeast region, or people who have gone in the fall before, though?

I'm an AP holder, in MA, who went in January (and bought the pass in January).

I'm booked at CSR for free dining, but my d who's joining me for 3 days needs a 3 day ticket. So now I have some number crunching to do to figure out if free dining or the 40% PIN is cheaper! :scared1: I have the TIW card, so there's some savings there if we ditch the plan, but TIW isn't good at Pepper Market, and it's really expensive without the DP. And I'll get my d's ticket from UT if I go that route. I hate these decisions!!

And I wanted to book some time in December for my birthday, which falls in the 40% days, but I don't think I can get enough days off work to go on both trips. :guilty:

Even more decisions to make!

I guess I'm just not with it, but could you tell me the address of the "newer version" on the Disney website? We have valid AP's and would like to have a shot at the AP 40% off room rates. Thank you very much. If you want to e-mail the information to me feel free to. Any info will be appreciated. e-mail address: gmerritt67@yahoo.com

Thank you.

Dang, I got it too. I've been looking at the pictures of MK decked out for Halloween and it sure looks pretty. My kids will both be in college, my husband has already gone this year and won't go again. So, do I go by myself or try to find someone else to take. And where do I stay???? I've already stayed at POR and POFQ this year. I won't stay at All-Stars and I can't justify a deluxe for myself, and I won't stay at CBR. So I guess that means it's time for me to try CSR. And I think I'll try the Quick Service Dining Plan. I did the "standard" dining plan twice this year but when going on a solo trip I typically eat very light and sometimes only order kids meals. Oh, and maybe I'll go to MNSSHP...

So many decisions....sigh...

I'm in the same boat. What to do?? :confused3 Would probably do QS or none at all perhaps for a short solo trip...decisions, decisons...sigh...indeed.
