I saw this

Can you book any dates or does it have to be that you vacation between 1/1/08 - 2/13/08 -?

We have family in Florida who are season pass holders so I wonder if we could get this through them.

looks like you will need some kind of ID -when you check in -that verifies that. then I don't think we can do this.

The dates specified are when those rates are good for and MLK weekend is excluded from those discounted rates. This was taken straight from the FL resident section of the WDW site:

Select Disney Value Resorts - $49 per night, plus tax*

For stays most Sunday through Thursday nights Jan 1 -
17
and Jan 21 - Feb 13, 2008 in a standard room.
That's a savings of $33 (or 40%) per night!
Additional per adult charges apply if more than two
adults per room.

Select Disney Moderate Resorts - $99 per night, plus tax*

For stays most nights Jan 1 - 17 and Jan 21 - Feb 13,
2008
in a standard room. That's a savings of $50
(or 33%) per night!
Additional per adult charges apply if more than two
adults per room.

A Disney Deluxe Villa Resort - $149 per night, plus tax*

For stays most nights Jan 1 - 17 and Jan 21 - Feb 13,
2008
in a studio room at Disney's Saratoga Springs
Resort & Spa. That's a savings of $136 (or 47%)
per night!

As far as if your AP/FL family can get you those rates, I am not 100% sure. In 2006 we, as FL AP guests, were able to book a room for our GA relatives using the AP rate when they went on vacation with us. At the time AP/FL residents could book up to three rooms with their discount and we had to be present at the time of check-in. I think they have changed their policy on this so I do not know if AP or FL residents can still book rooms for others.

I'm a FL resident looking to stay in those dates in Dec. Can you PM me please?

Whoa! Are you sure about that? The discounts are usually for the room only. The tickets and dining plan may have a slight discount, if any, but a 40% discount!? I don't think Disney is that generous, but would love some confirmation if this is the case.:hippie:

The 2 CM's that I spoke to yesterday said so, I was dumbfounded because that is a HUGE savings but the one CM altered my ressie to add 2 seven day park hoppers and the dining plan and it came out to $147 each for the tickets and $140 each for the dining ....I am still trying to figure out if we want to go that route or just buy the AP's

Anyone book for December 7th-17th w/the code yet? I called CRO yesterday & they said I had a code attached to my name, but couldn't tell me what it was for until I tried to book. So I did for the 7th-17th & he said I could get the discount rate for the 7th-13th, but not the 14th-17th.

I'm wondering if that means the 14th-17th is already booked up w/the code & also wondering if the code attached to my name is the 40%?? I'm having a hard time coming up w/the math on that one based on what he told me the room type & total.....It seems to be, but I found it interesting that I couldn't use it for the entire stay.

I think that I am going to have to call and see if we have a code attached to our name. I would love to have that because then we would be able to move our trip dates up.

Wish me luck.

Just an update to my earlier post....I didn't have the 40%, the code I had was for 20-30% off for select dates Jan 6-Dec 13. Going through AAA w/the 15% for entire 10 nights was cheaper...

Still hoping for that 40% though!! :0)

on my trips in 2007 and i was fortunate to get the 40% code and i booked my sept. and dec. trip and it cost me $49 a night at a value resort. i hope i get that again. good luck to everyone!!!

Because people will ask-

Yes, we are AP holders.

I'd just updated my profile on disney's website in response to an email about the Disney Mom's Q&A site, and I poked around the site a bit.

I applied the code to a previously booked bounceback stay at WL for 8/10-8/17, saving $220 (in total) on a courtyard bunk bed room.

The February dates start 2/24/08 and run to 3/5/08. The CM I spoke with said that it was unlikely that there were any February dates still available. But since we're booked at Pop, I'm not sure if we would see a better than AP discount.

You have to book prior to 3/31/08 and there is a pin code within the email.

Just an FYI

The CM's say yes can get the 40% off the tickets and dining plan as long as you book a package. I called back twice, got 2 different CMs and they told me the exact same thing.

I got a quote of $2671 for one week at the OKW for 2 adults, a 5 day park hopper with a deluxe dining plan. We decided to just buy the APs again and the DDE...we do not eat enough to justify the dining plan.

my boss got this offer and fowarded me the email, can I use it if she isnt?

Edited to add that yes, they let me use her offer but it was room only.. I got Poly, garden view for $2295 for 10 nights for 12/7-12/17. I wanted dining and tickets too but she couldnt figure it out

Oh yeah.. I sign up for EVERYTHING Disney and just went last month and did surveys and such.. I didnt get it.. she has been to Disney 20+ years ago and no AP.. we are in CT

I received an e-mail with the 40% off code a little while agao and I live in Wisconsin

Yesterday I had updated my profile & changed my password on Disney site However dont know if that has anything to do with getting the offer
These are the nights they list for the 40% off
