Cool! How many nights were you looking for and at what time in Oct? Sorry, just curious b/c we have a waitlist for 8 nights mid-month which might be tough. Of course, its the middle couple nights that aren't available.

We're actually waitlisted for all 8 nights. Meaning, we didn't book the first few and the last few b/c if the waitlist didn't come through we'd have had to move a couple of times. We're at BLT for the whole time now and will only get BWV if all 8 nights become available. If the missing nights at BWV were at the beginning or the end we may have booked the available nights at BWV and waitlisted the the first or last couple only and had to move just once, which we could live with, if it never came through. Make sense?

Good for you! The last 2 7 month reservations I tried to make, I didn't get my first choice. I'm happy with what I have, but it's good to know that what I really wanted may become available.

We have one studio waitlisted for BCV or BWVs. middle of Oct.

Darn it! Why does the DVC have to be down? Reading this post inspired me to check on my waitlist.

I try not to check it more than twice a day

Our wait list came through for 10/4 and 10/5 (we're doing a split stay with AKL 10/6 and 10/7), preferred garden/pool studio. We were on the wait list for a little less than a full month.

Have been on a wait list for May at AKL and just called this morning and the exact dates/location that I needed were available. So don't wait for the wait list to work.

Congrats! I have been very lucky with waitlists coming through except for one time at the 7 month period. I think my second may be next. I am WL for BLT 1BR for Nov. 8th & 9th. I am not confident it will come through since it is Jersey week. I have BCV as back up for the two nights but it would be so much easier to be at BLT for MVMCP for those days.

Just got the other 2 days of my waitlist!!! BCV!!!! So excited! It's for October, during F&W. This was our first time doing a waitlist, and we got exactly what we wanted..so there IS hope! I did not receive an email...I just logged into the member's site and saw it there. Good luck to everyone else!

congratulations! We are still waiting for our May 28th and 29th waitlist to come thru at BWV, so we don't have to move room views.

Our 3 night end of October waitlist for a Treehouse came through! The family is so happy, and now I invited DSis to join us, she's slept in the sleep chair at BLT, so she's happy to have the one in the Treehouse.

I never called, but got the e-mail!

We are waitlaisted for Oct also at BWV & BCV, but I don't have much hope. Just called DVC to check and the only studio available for our 4 nights in Oct was SSR, OKW was even booked up ! We got WLV back at the seven month mark, never stayed there so at least it will be new to us.

It is just such a long walk from F&W to the buses at the end of the night after a few drinks and a lot of food in your belly..LOL

LOL, my sentiments exactly! We're at BLT for F&W but wait listed for BWV as well. At least the monorail is a bit less of a walk than the buses

I have a savanna view studio at AKV-Kidani booked for October 13-15 and I am on a waitlist for a MKview or LV studio at BLT. There are only 2 reasons that I want to stay at BLT on this trip: 1) It is just DSiL and I so the teeny-tiny studio (JMHO) will be OK for two nights; and 2) I want to see Wishes and Hallowishes from TOTWL! DSiL has never been to WDW before and I think seeing the fireworks from the resort (or even from our room!) would be a great introduction to Disney magic!

OTOH, I absolutely LOVE Kidani and I would not be one bit upset if my waitlist never came through. In fact, I'm almost considering cancelling my WL...I even have our ADR's at Jiko, Boma and Sanaa all booked!
