When the urge becomes irresistable, do what I try to do : type up an answer. Edit it, refine it, make it perfect, then delete it. It burns off the frustration.

I agree, let's stop posting replies to these posts by trolls. I can't tell you how frustrated I feel when I see that these terrible posts stay at the top of the board because people keep replying!

And like the other Tori above - I usually type out a response and then press the Back button and cancel it!

Mom, that is about the best, concise explanation and advise on trolls I have yet come across on the Net. And it is pretty old too. I have posted that link here several times over the years, when people would be getting drawn in by them. One was around for ages, constantly puling people in, enjoying the commotion he/she created. Best policy is to IGNORE.
