Just found out we got a HUGE UPGRADE!

hydster -

thanks for the kind words. We are so excited I can hardly concentrate at work and at home.

I keep waiting for someone from disney to call me and tell me it is all a mistake and we have to go back to our other room, or even worse, that they don't have any room for us at all.

Lisa I know the feeling (*I feel your pain*) LOL Since we got told of our 4 category upgrade I still think someone's going to call and tell me HAHAHA got you you've been pranked by Girls Behaving Badly or something! LOL

You'll have a great time! I can't wait to check out a Cat 3 with one of our thread members who also got upgraded from a 4 to a 3....I plan on taking notes! LOL

Hydster:

We stayed in 8502 on the 4 night Wonder in early March - great location - very quiet and only a few steps from the forward elevators. The room is at the end of the hallway leading to the bridge - very little traffic. I have read mentions of aerobics classes - we never heard any if there were some.

2xcruiser----THANK YOU for giving me your report on the room!~ We had 8550 last time and it was right below the mickey pool and listening to the running, ping pong, sailaway party..it got too much to settle the kids down at night even though they were exhausted which is one of the reasons we booked the 6th deck but now with the spa area above us I'm much more relieved! Did you have problems with motion being that far forward??? I'm a little nervous about that but figure we aren't in our rooms much anyway and if I do get sick I can always puke into the wind from the balcony! LOL

Thanks again!

Heidi - My wife did have some trouble the first night in 14 to 18 foot seas. Having access to the verandah was great because she could sit outside and look at the horizon and breath the fresh air. There appears to be a great debate as to whether you feel more or less motion depending on the location in the ship. It does stand to reason that the front of the ship tends to "bounce" more as the bow breaks through the waves, but I don't have anything to compare it to - the seas were very calm on our first cruise (we were mid ship on that one). My 7 yo had some discomfort that night as well, but was never ill - my 4 yo and I had no trouble (my wife is prone to motion sickness).

Congratulations on the upgrade - we are booked in Feb. 05 for a 7 day western cruise in a catg. 5 - hoping for some of your luck.

Don.
