Marvelous, Kari! I've seen these designs posted elsewhere and subscribed to your thread a long time ago, but just now started reading from the beginning - I don't want to miss any! I'm about halfway and must stop, but wanted to pop in and say thanks for bringing a smile to my face this morning!






These two especially made me smile today. Thanks for making light of things that tend to frustrate all of us.... I know it put me in a better mood today (for now )!

I'm not back. I'm using my parents computer and it is sooooo slow. They live in the boonies and they can't get a faster connection. Also, they have a Mac which I'm not used to and I can't figure out how to multi-quote.

WOW! I finally came over to this side of the DIS and am impressed! I love the Wall-E ones for Christmas. I was thinking of using one of them for a shirt...is there anything specific I need to do to get it onto a shirt? This is all new to me...how do we (without sounding tacky) "thank you" for all your work? TIA!!!

You just thanked me and to get them on a shirt just save them to your computer. Print them on transfer paper and iron them on using the transfer paper instructions. There is a thread around here, usually on page one,that has all sorts of tips for ironing on etc.

Apparently my photobucket Pro account expired today so if you saw or see no images that is why. Tried to upgrade from parents computer and I can see the images now but photobucket shows it is still processing the upgrade. Anyway, if the images disappear again I'll have to fix it when I get home late tonight.

I mentioned my parents live in the "boonies". Actually, they live in a beautiful setting on a lake but it is "the end of the road" and it borders forest service property. They have rattlesnakes occasionally in their yard. Last night DS5 and DD4 wanted to go for a walk with grandma (it was after dark). Fortunately DS had a flashlight and was able to see the snake coiled, rattling and ready to strike before they got too close. While they were "taking care" of the first snake they ran into a second one....boy, am I ready to come home.

Thanks for the update...Id be ready to come home too...I walked over the top of a sunning copperhead one day (HUGE and streach out across the gravel road)and it never moved on the way to the fishing hole ...the couple behind me saw it an freacked...my head must have been up in the clouds...NEVER AGAIN... my eyes are focus on the ground....lol

Oh my gosh, how scary! I would be more than ready to come home!

DS absolutely loved the Olympic one! I made it into a cling in honor of the Games starting. I took a pic but didn't have time to get it posted last night! Hopefully I will be able to do it tonight.

And yes, you are missed! Love the daily dose of laughter!

Hi Kari! I am back from bar exam study/taking and ready to get back into the DIS. I have missed it so much!

Anywho - I have a friend who is having lapband surgery on Monday and I am making her a care package. I was wondering if you would be interested in making a DISign that is similar to one you already have but says: "Nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels"
