Just for fun - What rules have you broken?

5 in a studio often use the pool after posted hours. Used DVC discount for friends use pool towels for in the room.

I just KNEW someone would find me out!!!

I swear. It was an accident. I took one of the little covered containers from VWL last time we were there by mistake.

I PROMISE I am bringing it back when we return. I promise.....

I feel so much better now! Thank you for letting me confess that rule I broke. :wave2: :wave2:

We have also used pool towels for the room and I have pool hopped without calling in advance.

My theme park infractions include driving to the Poly for breakfast at 'Ohaha and then taking the monorail into the MK after our meal, smuggling PB&J sandwiches into the parks, getting a Fast Passe for Rock and Roll Rollercoaster and one for Tower of Terror and also getting a baby swap passes for both, using FPs after the 1 hour window and using parts of the Animal Kingdom lunch certificates on a day other than when they were bought. Oh! The horror! :earseek:

I've parked at Boardwalk and gone to Epcot. :o Just couldn't resist a short visit "home".

We prefer to park at BC -- saying we're going to Beaches and Cream, and hitting Illuminations one last time. Next trip we'll just have to walk from BWV!

I hear you, My DH and I always drink around the world and I dont remember going back to carribean beach one vacation.

I was polite to a Yankee fan :smooth:

Hey, guys, guess what? We can now AFFORD to be polite to Yankees fans...remember, a person is judged by how he treats his inferiors. :thewave:

I guess you've got a good point there!
But it's so much more fun not to be polite to them! :rotfl:

We had friends staying off property once and we got them a parking pass for OKW so they could park there and not pay the parking fee. We did not have a car.

That's the only one I feeel guilty about. But only a little.

I stole 3 extra creamers from the Boardwalk Bakery for my morning coffee that I made in the room. I feel so much better now.

I've used pool at OKW and BWV after posted hours also.

I pool hopped to the AKL before I was a DVC member. Have to confess I didn't know it was illegal (albeit not enforced) but as we know, ignorance of the law is not a defense.

I've had one other infraction, not at a DVC resort, but I'm not talking about it. :rolleyes1

Hmmm... You must've used your George Foreman Grill cooking breakfast for 10 people in your room at the All Stars. And THEN, you went to the food court and loaded up your old Big Gulp cups at the soda fountain. For shame! For shame!

I haven't broken any rules YET. I almost had 5 people in a studio. (Long story but, plans changed fortunately) I've partaken in a bit too much pixie spirits on occassion and I did have an unregistered guest.

Wait...the pools have hours?!?! ;)

I guess I broke that rule too...like all the time! :rotfl:

We went down to the campfire about 10 - 15 minutes late at VB so that we wouldn't have to participate in the songs, but could still get in on the smores. Love the smores, just can't sing ... especially that darned fast food song!

We once had a CM tell us that we could get additional towels for our use at the pool. That was when OKW was called DVC.

We avoided having to purchase condiments from the WL store by loading up on ketchup, mustard, mayonaise, and such at the parks for meals we made in our room. I'd guess that it isn't as bad as making an entire salad free at EPCOT so we could sit by the fountain, but I'm sure Disney is missing out on money that they could have had otherwise.

Personally, I always thought that "pools hours" were just advisory ... sort of like "Speed limit 70"

I've see members grab extra stuff off of the housekeeping carts and never told on them. Does that count?

We take some jelly....

I have had 5 in a studio (well it was BWV and there was a daybed so I guess that's not breaking a rule) and 5 in a 1 Bedroom (brought along a twin blowup matt for the lil guy)

Oh, and I have had a drink in "glass" near the pool and hot tub (but I was very very careful!!)

Yikes!! :sad2: You were polite to a Yankee fan? Why on earth would you do something like that?? You broke the biggest rule there is! :rotfl2:

You are right. I'm sorry and I'll never do it again. :rotfl:

This is not for debate, just a fun confessional of the rules you have broken while at a DVC resort...
None. I'm a perfect angel.

:rotfl2:

Ok, one time DH and I brought glass bottles of beer to the quiet pool at BCV. Yes, we got reprimanded...but they still let us drink them. :)
