We just debarked the 4/30 Eastern Carribean Fantasy cruise, we are 3 adults no kids. We did The Baths at Tortola, St John at St Thomas (first Disney cruise since covid to offer excursions back to St John), and both Family Beach and Serenity Bay in Castaway. Also did Palo Brunch and Palo Dinner. I checked ice cream flavors every day, and they were Mango/Chocolate, Strawberry/Banana, and Vanilla/Chocolate for every day of the cruise. (Sadly no blueberry like in the past). If you have questions about things we did, I will answer the best I can! Cannot answer anything about the Spa or Kids stuff. And I’m at Volcano Bay today, so my responses will be a bit delayed but I really enjoyed the threads from previous cruises to help me plan, so wanted to help anyone else with cruises coming up!

I am jealous about you being at Volcano Bay! Was Remy open? How was the tour of the Baths? Our booking window opens tonight so have to start preparing.

I believe Remy was open, we only went to Palo twice but it appeared to be open. The Baths tour I am conflicted on, the beaches were beautiful. The first one in particular, but we only were there for 30 minutes. And then the hike through the caves, that was rough. Mostly because people were stopping to take so many pictures that they hold people up in the beating sun, carrying all their stuff, cramped and cranky. Next time, I will take the guide up on his offer to skip the cave hike and just take the path to the second beach.

Are they still those awful frozen Krispy Kremes? With the pastry kitchen on board, you'd expect fresh out of fryer donuts.
They look like doughnuts from a hospital cafeteria

Are characters hugging people during photos again?

At least they weren't Krispy Kremes. My mom was a nurse and at least her hospital had pretty good baked goods like donuts.

Hey guys, Angelamarya17 is being kind enough to share her experience and help others who are planning. Let's not derail this thread by breaking the Dis Covid posting policy. Thanks for keeping this thread on track. :thumbsup2

Did they add the St John excursions back in last minute, or were they available to book from the start?

Our hospitals have given up on baking. They just have a Dunkin' inside now!
We just got a Dunkin, haven't been yet. To be honest, we have too many amazing family run independent donut places. They basically ran Krispy Kreme out of business here.

I'm from where Dunkin' is from, so they're absolutely everywhere around here. We still have plenty of family-owned donut shops, too. You can have both! But Krispy Kreme didn't survive for very long.

When I was working, we had a huge turnover of staff, with many from outside the state. They couldn't believe we didn't have Dunkin. I knew them from their airport locations. Our big chain was Winchells, but all the local ones closed. Closest one now is 200 miles from here.
