Just Finished the 4/30-5/7 EB Fantasy Cruise

I believe Remy was open, we only went to Palo twice but it appeared to be open. The Baths tour I am conflicted on, the beaches were beautiful. The first one in particular, but we only were there for 30 minutes. And then the hike through the caves, that was rough. Mostly because people were stopping to take so many pictures that they hold people up in the beating sun, carrying all their stuff, cramped and cranky. Next time, I will take the guide up on his offer to skip the cave hike and just take the path to the second beach.
If you can skip the caves, then I might consider that excursion. Otherwise, it's a hard pass for me. Climbing over rocks in beach attire (especially while carrying your bags) does not sound like fun to me.

Did you see Ben and David from Youtube filming on board? Looking forward to seeing their videos from this sailing.
We did! We actually weren’t sure who they were prior, but we had the same dining rotation and were on the same excursion in Tortola so we went over to ask for their youtube name so we could check out the videos. I went up to deck 12 alot in the mornings to get nice photos of the ports, and constantly would see them also up early filming.

We have the Baths (shorter version without the lunch) booked for the end of the month. Just to clarify, you are expected to stay with your group and transition through the cave/boulder area as a group? I was assuming that you would get dropped off and be told to be back at the bus pickup in 2 hours, etc.

If the tour you are doing is the exact same as ours, minus lunch, then the process is that you go to beach 1 (Devil’s Bay) for about 30ish mins. Then they tell everyone to line up and follow them through the caves/boulder path, and then once you get through that area you walk out of the final cave onto the 2nd beach (The Baths)

I saw them at Castaway. I didn't know who they were but noticed they had a nice camera so I asked if they were on youtube

Nice!

That's cool, they make great high quality videos on Youtube, the nice camera makes a big difference.
Yes! One of the ways I help autistic DS know what to expect so he doesn’t get stressed in a new place is youtube. We watched their full tour of the Disney Magic probably 100 times (he likes repetition). When we were onboard, he knew where everything was and was so happy retracing their steps. The Magic video was beautiful quality and their commentary is really enjoyable. I hope they filmed something similar for the Fantasy on this trip. We’ve been on Fantasy before but that was when my DS was too little to remember.

Great idea! I have tried hard to get the same stateroom on Dream and Fantasy so my DS who is on the autism scale is always going back to the same stateroom that he knows how to get to.

Are you talking about St John's, Antigua? This is a Different St Johns they are talking about in the British Virgin Islands.
Nope. The St Johns excursions from St Thomas. We have been to Antigua on the fantasy before with 2 more visits this year on the fantasy.

Do you know if COVID testing is required for Tortola/BVI? Just wondering because I will be sailing with a 90 day recovery letter, and will not be tested. I saw online that BVI requires COVID testing, so wondering how this works for cruises and 90 day recovered folks.
We have an upcoming cruise booked and I was wondering how the 90 day recovery letter worked when boarding the cruise ship. Do you simply show that instead of testing at the port, or do you also test at the port? Seems like lots of people in our community are testing positive right now so I don't know how nervous to be if someone in the family tests positive, even with plenty of time baked in for recovery, since I've heard you can continue testing positive for 3 months. Thanks for any insight you can provide. Calling Disney these days to answer questions like this usually takes 4+ hours...

This thread has details about obtaining a 90-day recovery exemption. You will need to upload the documentation to SafePassage before arriving at the port, then any individual in your party with the exemption will skip the testing (but wait for the rest of your party).
