What better way to celebrate getting one's life back than a trip to Disney! Originally wanted to go with my ex but he always pooh..poohed the idea (pardon the pun).

So....I made plans with my best friend to go in 2003. I'm also going in 2002 but with Family.

So...as a aging, once again single (but happy) 30 something year old....I'm excited for my trip!

Sorry...just had to toot my freedom horn!

The year I turned 30 was the best year in my life, all kinds of exciting things happened.
It was also the year I went to Disney for the very first time in my life. Been happily hooked ever since.

I'm in sorta the same boat. My so-called BF isn't all that interested in going to WDW. How can I have a BF that won't go to WDW? (PS...I'll be turning 30 in a couple of weeks)

I had a great time this past trip to WDW, and I am 31. my fiance is 27. we had a great trip, and now will be going back aften as we joined DVC while there.

everything will work out for you, when you least are looking for someone will be when the right person may come along.

mlissa88, do you pin trade? if so, are ya coming to the harrisburg, pa DIS pin meet/DVC get together on July 13th? check the DVC or pin boards for more info.

To Mike: no...I don't pin collect...maybe I'll get into it when I get down there. I don't know much about it...so I'll head to the threads that talk about it and learn more about it. Hope you enjoy Hbg! It's hot as heck here right now...but lots of fun stuff going on near the river. Good way to keep cool.

just wanted to say have a great time. my friend also just broke up with her boyfriend. she moved to australia to be with him and he turned out to be a jerk. she just got home last night and in 3 weeks we are going to wdw. enjoy your trip!

Last fall I planned my "big trip" down to Key West for a convention. I had planned on staying a few extra days as I was
turning 50 that week. Well, dear ol' hurricane Michelle decided to chase us out of town early. But I wasn't going to let that spoil my big day! I called WDW and got ressies at CBR. Instead of sitting by the ocean with my cd player listening to Peter Mayer singing "Susannah When The Sun Goes Down" on my 50th BD, I sat at CBR
and watched the sunset after running around the MK all day! I'll tell you, life was good! I ate ice cream when I wanted. I didn't have to
share my popcorn! It was so much fun, I'm planning on doing it again this year!

You live in Central PA...hmmm...I need an excuse to visit Hersheypark and Kennywood again...hmmm...

Stop teasing! Central PA is a great place to visit though... I can see the Hershey Park fireworks from my back yard. Been there many a time. It's become a bit toooooooo big for me to enjoy anymore. At least in Disney..during the off season you can find some privacy. At HP it's a madhouse all of the time.

Never been to Kennywood though I hear it's fun. Lots of cool coasters

I'm now in the "ex-girlfriend" club for a while...till I adjust. If you are around disney in Oct/Nov of 2003 maybe we (my best "single" friend) and I could meet you at Downtown Disney one night

My ex didn't like disney. What kind of guy would not like Disney???? It should have been a "red flag" right away. LOL.
