We recently found out that DH's illness has returned and is more than likely going to need another year of treatment (will know more info after dr visit on Friday). It normally takes 2 months for him to feel well enough for any big excursions after treatment ends......I guess any Disney trips are out of the question til late next year at the soonest!

Looks like I should start planning for another Christmas trip (2004) to keep everyone's spirits up!! I've heard disney is the best medicine!! (That and some pixie dust couldn't hurt )

I know the feeling of disappointment in which you can't go to WDW, but focus on that 2004 trip and it will be there before you know it! Best of luck to you all and I hope all goes well

I'm joining is wishing your Dh good luck with treatment and sending pd for a speedy recovery. I also agree. Start planning for that 2004 trip. It really helped me when I was very ill to plan and think about our trip. It makes the treatments that much easier and it gives the patient something to look forward to.
