Just Did An Add On!! (Surprise Inside)

Hi All....Just a little FYI....

I did a 150 point add-on at SSR today & of course got the $8.00 off per point & 2005 points, but......was also told that I'd be getting 2 free AP's!

My guide said that it just started on Sunday....It was a wonderful & unexpected surprise!

It's just for SSR with an add on of 120 points or more.......I was totally shocked because I normally ready about the promos here on The Dis first....It made my day magical!

That "perk" is great news. Any truth to the smaller add-on perk rumor we heard about earlier???

I'm not sure what the rumor was, I was originally going to buy 100, but was a bit on the fence if I wanted more before prices went up. When my guide told me about the AP's with a 120 point add-on, it became a no-brainer to me because our AP's expire right in the middle of our next trip......

Spoke with one of the sales staff today at DVC, our sales castmember was on vacation. He said that there are going to be some perks that are going to come if you by 100+ points at SSR , he said to expect an email, he thought going out tonight explaining the details of the perks, he also told us about the passes. Im assuming that another deal besides the $8 and the passes is comming? Watch your emails

Will be interesting to see the impact this has on sales... The math works out very comparable to the F & F discount, maybe a little less in the buyers' favor up at the higher point ranges.

Try as they might, DVC can't seem to get above $85 for SSR. The pending price increase is right out of the GM play book and should be ignored (higher price = higher rebate). The only explanation I can come up with is that they are setting the table for the next DVC resort which will be discounted less? We shall see. Rule No. 1 - don't ever buy DVC immediately following the end of a promotion.
