Just Dessert -

For years I have wanted my family to eat at the 50's Prime Time Cafe - no takers. Has anyone ever just had dessert there? I think I could talk them in to that.

I haven't--like teh meals there! As long as you aren't going during peak lunch or dinner hours, I'm sure they'd be happy to accomodate you for "Just Dessert"!

Disney has no restriction that says you cannot make a reservation and order dessert only, no matter what day or time. However, V&A and several of the buffets are fixed price and do include the dessert. There are some buffets where dessert is an additional cost option, so you could probably do them also.

Now it's been 10 years since I had dessert there...but I could swear I had a cobbler and it was delicious...now I could easily be mixing that up with my dear mamaw's wonderful peach cobbler...but I'm pretty sure it was there...I would stick with the cobblers and ice cream...I think my husband had a chocolate cake thing and it was just sooo soooo...tasted like grocery store take-out...nothing to write home about.

Thanks. I will pull up a menu and see if they still offer cobbler - one of my favorite desserts!!

p.s congrats on the weight loss....I am still struggling with the last 25 (no wonder my thoughts are on dessert)

We liked the smores, and you have to try the PB&J milkshakes!!!!!!!YUMMY!!!!

Actually a poster on these boards very recently reported not being able to make a "dessert only" reservation during a peak dinner time.
