Just dessert at BOG?

Ive looked for weeks and just can't get an earlier reservation for BOG than 8:30pm. Would you eat just dessert and Grab a quick service earlier? Kids are 4, 4 ,6 and 7 and I know that will starve before 8:30pm.

Or perhaps, try a later lunch at Crystal Palace or CRT? Chances are it may be less crowded so the kids would get extra attention from the characters. BOG has a delicious looking menu so it would be nice to try to take advantage of their offerings...

First, definitely keep trying! Persistance almost always pays off. Second, you can just get desserts with a QS earlier in the day or depending on how good eaters your kids are, would just getting some fries and drinks from Caseys around 6pm then eating dinner at BOG might work. Certainly cheaper to do a QS meal then desserts at BOG than dinner at BOG. Either way I'm sure your kids will love seeing the inside of BOG!

You can certainly do this, but be aware that you will be taking twice the time dining. I know dessert and coffee won't take as long as a complete meal, but it will take time to check in, be seated, be waited on and then get served, pay and leave. If your family can sit twice, I would say go for it, but I know the young ones in my family woudl not be okay with this plan. They woud do it if I said so, but I doubt that they would be happy.

True story! Even with reservations & arriving 15min prior to ADR time, it's still a wait. I would say still take at least an hour. Only cupcakes & the Gray Stuff offered. We love both, but not worth time with small kids for limited dessert options, unless just want photo with the Beast. Then consider its like paying for a M&G, but still waiting an hour. Just food for thought. My DD8 would not be happy, she would go with the flow, but I wouldn't do this to her. You know your kids best!

Happy planning!
