Just Curious...

Being 6 feet tall and in shape (ROUND is a shape, right?) I find the shower in the MH to be cramped. I use the CS.

I started camping with my parents when I was a kid when we had a 16 foot Trotwood travel trailer. We used the CS in the campgrounds because that thing was TINY (and no hot water tank). I got used to showing in shower shoes/flip flops then. Did the same in the Navy. Now I usually wear Crocs.

Two reasons we bought a TT. 1. So we wouldn't have to sleep in other peoples filth,, 2. I don't want to shower behind other people who have just washed their privates in the spot I'm standing.... ..Mr.:goofy:

P.S. ... I also don't want to be standing take'n a shower in the same spot where you know darn well that people have wee-wee'd while take'n their shower ! .... Mr.:goofy:

Shower? Isn't that what the pool is for?

I'm 6'3" and will happily use a CS, but my DW would use the shower in the TT or stink!

In our 20+ years of camping we have never used a comfort station. The only guest we've ever had who uses a bath house is our SIL who is 6-7 and couldn't fit into the TT shower.

We use the shower in the 5er. Years ago when we stayed in a tent or a pop up we used the CS.

Yuk...but okay...:scared: that's why you don't go in there barefoot. I give my husband and son(who is 6'3" tall) flip flops to wear to the showers. I suppose if the cg showers weren't clean, then they'd have to make do with the tt shower. They just like the extra room the cg showers provide. The comfort stations that I saw in FW were really nice and exceptionally clean.

The sick thing about that comment is that there are people out there that would rather jump in the pool to spash some surface dirt off then wait in line to take a shower at a comfort station! Ewww now I got the creeps!! :scared:

We did the comfort station gig for the first two years of our camping life when we owned a T@b which didn't have a shower.

So what made you decide to get rid of the T@B?? And to stay on topic, I use the comfort station cause I don't have a shower. Although I just got a Zodi Hot Water Machine, so I could take a shower in my shower tent.

Just avoid the warm spots in the pool....:sad2:

I ALWAYS take a shower after I've been in the pool...some nasty stuff in there!:laundy:

I have to say, after DD11 swam in the FW pool, she broke out. Now, she IS allergic to everything, so it's hard to tell what caused it......but still.

We do the same thing which is why I was so surprised there are no showers at the FW pools. We've always had our kids rinse off before getting in a public pool and then they wash up afterwards. Most pools we go to have a RULE about having to rinse first. :confused3

We use the shower in our tt. With 4 kids, it's just easier! We use the comfort stations once in a while to rinse off if necessary.

The smaller pool by the cabins has a rinse shower.

We use our shower in our motorhome. Besides the fact that I like our own bed and our own bathroom, etc it is easier.

This is a sign that I posted at our pool....I think all the resorts should have one of these:

I like your sign. :thumbsup2
