with the free dining plan being offered the last two years...were their different promotions offered other years that were really worth it or exciting etc. I just keep reading that everyone can't wait to see what is offered and i'm just wondering if everyone really wants the free dining to be offered again or if sometimes it's something else? Thanks!

In the past, Disney has offered "7 nights for the price of 4", bonus Disney Dollars for children included in the package, free ticket addons like free hopping and free waterpark fun and free children's passes. None of those promotions are guaranteed to be offered again, but you never know when it comes to Disney. Some of us never thought that we would see the free dining promotion repeated after 2005. Boy were we wrong!

The 7 for 4 deal was pre-MYW packages, so it was probably in 2004.

The bonus Disney Dollars for the kids was some time in early 2005.

The free ticket addons were in the winter and spring of 2006.

And to be honest, I cannot remember when the free kids' tickets were offered, I just remember thinking that it was another reason that I was sad to see my kids growing up...they were already too old for us to take advantage of it.
