People who are very negative. It drives me crazy when nothing is ever right or their life is always worse than everybody's else's. People who are jealous of everything. I try to be positive and I am happy with my life and I don't think about what other people have, somebody always has more than you.

the misuse of the words your and you're...or their, there, and they're...

bad manners...

i work at a computer training center and my biggest pet peeve about our students...i bake otis spunkmeyer cookies every afternoon. they have to cool for 10 minutes when they come out of the oven...it never fails...i could have note upon note surrounding the cookie trays that say these cookies aren't ready yet but there's always someone who comes and tries to steal a cookie before i've put them out on the tray. when that cookie hasn't had enough time to "set up", it tends to fall apart and then leave a trail of oowey gooey choclate running down the cabinet...ACK!!!!! drives me nuts!!!!!

i could go on and on for days about my pet peeves...

Scraping teeth on silverware, chewing ice, people getting angry with me for driving the speed limit (in the right lane, of course), the use of bad language around children. I could go on, but then someone elses pet peeve with me someone listing too many pet peeves !

My pet peeves ... and you probably have heard them here before..

1. People who misuse handicap parking spaces
a. park completely in the hash mark area
b. "I am just using it for the ATM or to drop of my movie"
c. Park so close to the handi space that you can not open your
door
d. Use the handi space as the shopping cart corral

2. Selfishness and self entitlement
3. Store clerks that are unable to count change
4. Store clerks and fast food employees that do not say thank
you.

People who mix up the use of "less" and "fewer." Less refers to amount and fewer refers to quantity.
For some reason, the use of these words interchangeably irks me. At the same time, I know that this differentiation is on its way out the door and won't matter in years to come.
