Just curious... are Christmas decorations up in MK today?

I think at least some of them are up. My mom is there now and sent me a picture of a toy soldier decoration this morning.

Decorations are being put up overnight through the 5th

Just so they will be ready for me when I arrive on the 8th. The elves are great like that and I totally appreciate their efforts.

One year we arrived right before Halloween and stayed a week. I got to see both sets of decorations.

That is my dream for another trip! I have done several trips during Flower and Garden season, and numerous ones in November, but seeing the Halloween decor and MNSSHP last year was a first. Now, greedy gal that I am, I dream of being there to catch the change of seasons. Who knows... It may happen some year.

We just returned Monday and it was starting! The castle lighting ceremony starts Wednesday. I was so bummed we missed it by 2 nights, but we were there last December so I can't complain.

We did that also, it is one of my favorite trips ever. We were there for Halloween and stayed until Nov 12th. Every park tree except the one in MK was up by the time we left. It is fun to look at the pics in the order we took them and see the changes in the decorations from fall/Halloween to Christmas.
