I make the kids put them on when we leave the house and wear them until we are through the tapstiles. Then I end up with them on my purse strap. Which is where mine always is anyway.

Who says you have to only wear them at Disney?



If we are strictly talking about the day we get there...we put them on in the morning when we are getting dressed just like we would a watch. Why not?

They're waterproof so they are also good at the water parks. Heat makes them a bit more pliable so they conform easier to your wrist (you get a little sweaty under the band) and cold just makes them stiffer.

They did pretty good designing these IMHO.

If you have kids leave them on the kids when we were there in February we took them off because it bothered the kids. They told us there is a tracking feature built into them so if the kids get lost they can be found.

I put mine on before we head to the airport. They don't set off any of the x-ray equipment so there's no need to wait, unless you want to.

On just after the TSA security check (while I'm getting redressed after stripping naked to be irradiated for my own safety ) and off just before TSA goin' home! (Note my longest stay is about 4 days so I'm not really wearing it that long... a few more days and I'd probably be going crazy with it on my wrist)

Not quite what you are asking, but my youngest wore his nonstop the entire week we were there.

And kept it on for two weeks after we got home. I love that kid.

If you came in to the grocery store I work at wearing one, I would ABSOLUTELY open up another check out line just for you. (and I'm not even kidding)

I put them on whenever I leave my hotel room.. they're a room key for cripes sake!

(Plus, I really love getting a magic band tan to take home with me. "Free" souvenir from Disney)
