I think WDW surveys are complete BS. I filled one out myself, but does WDW care about feedback? I'm rather irked with them right now. You know how they supposedly "welcome" feedback? I sent them directly an e-mail commenting on how lovely their character breakfast meals are, but mentioned that there are many who would love for Lilo and Stitch to have a regular appearance at one. They e-mailed me back and in short, told me they were sorry but they are not allowed to read an email that suggests anything to them. They cannot take suggestions for improvement (WTHECK!?!?!) or ideas (Uh...Why did Walt have to go!? He would have cared what people thought!) because it takes away from their own creativity. So they thanked me for the thought behind e-mailing them, but they had to delete the entire thing so they would not read it and get in troulbe for taking a customer suggestion. Is that not messed up? They will probably look at the survey comments through the same arrogant lens filters. I've lost faith in WDW. :( I hope our honeymoon there is magical, I'm sure it wil be no matter what, but I doubt we will return soon to WDW afterwards. That letter they sent me REALLY made my blood boil.

I'm sorry about the e-mail you received from Disney. I definitely understand your frustration in taking the time to make a suggestion and then having it flatly rejected. The e-mailer seems like he/she attempted to be polite and "magical," but I think the true, real-life reason should have been provided. I did a little research, and from disney.com:

"SUBMISSIONS

But I agree with your suggestion! It is too bad that in today's world, Disney cannot take these suggestions to heart. :wave2:

As for the main topic of this thread, my brother received the survey, and he is sure he is going to win one of the certificates!

I took the survay too. It was emailed to me. I belive it was because when I was on the website once I took a pop up survay and signed up to take more.

As far as them accepted suggestions. WDW has been through a number of lawsuits about people saying they "gave" them ideas and sued them for not recompinsating them. The great world of sports one comes to mind. Disney is a big comany and everyone wants a bit of the action, so while it is anoying, I understand why they need to say this.

However idea's in survays are not the same. I love WDW and I love giving them my feed back so I take every survay I can and always give my email address to the people with the computer pads at the frount of the parks.

This one was rather funny, they asked when your last trip was (March 2005,) and when your next one is (April 2005).

And OMG, since it was 80 here a few days ago and they expect anywhere from 3 to 8 inches of snow here today and twm, I need to get back to WDW! (less then a week now!) :cheer2:
