Just Completed First Stay as Owners at SSR!

We could not have asked for a more perfect vacation! I never room requested as I've never been disappointed and this was no exception. We were put in the Carousel and as we walked the very long walk to the back corner of the building, my BF was starting to wonder. Then we entered the room and have had the most wonderful view! The golf course is right across the way and a lovely fountain in the pond just to the right of our 2nd floor balcony! In fact, the one day the BF played golf - I took pictures of him on the green from our balcony!

Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. The resort is huge - absolutely giant. Every inch of it beautifully kept. Our room was quiet and very clean. They have a pool table in the Turf Club and we spent some time playing there. We discovered we are way out of practice, but it was fun just the same. We also ate at dinner at the Turf Club on our arrival night before joining the fun, fun crowd for the Super Bowl. The food was just phenomenal! This restaurant is a treasure! The crowd for the Super Bowl was then so polite and friendly. Awesome peeps!

We never waiting long for a bus and it was only crowded where there was standing room only just one time.

If anyone has any questions, I'll try to answer them. I wrap up by saying I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We want to move around and try all resorts eventually but I'm so glad we chose to stay here for our first trip!

I really like Saratoga. I like it better than my home resort of AKV actually! Glad you had a great time.

Thanks for sharing your experience. We have reservations at Saratoga in a couple months. You definitely don't hear the same buzz about SSR as you do some of the other resorts, so it's always good to hear a good report!

The free pool table in the lounge was fun if you're into that. The food at the Turf Club is awesome! If you've never stayed there before, you may want to know that bell services will bring your luggage to your room if you like. They load it from your car at check in into their van or golf cart and bring it to your room. No one at check in told us that and we lugged our stuff. They were so friendly though! They'll take you anywhere on property you want to go. Take a half hour to check out the preview rooms. We had a blast talking with the guide!
