We closed yesterday on a resale add on (TSS) at AKV. :yay: Everything went great.

Just wondering how do the points or contracts show up on DVC member website? Are the two contracts shown on separate lines? Different page? Click on one for BCV and another for AKV?

I know it's probably going to be a couple weeks before the points show up but I've probably been on there 4 or 5 times today looking. (We do have 79pts that have to be used by December so just itchy to see 'em. )

Thanks in advance for any help!

Assuming you have the same UY and same membership number for all your contracts, you'll see each as a separate line where your first contract will be numbered xxxxx.0, the second xxxxx.1. The details for points per UY and such will be available for each individual contract.

Depending on what page you're looking at on the website, you might see them on the same page (in summary form) or on different pages (if you look at the details for all UY for a particular contract). But for the most part you'll see all your points at once, and on the booking pages where you select resorts and dates, the small box to the right with your available points will show the total of the two contracts. If you click there it then shows the breakdown by contract.

When you go to book, either on line or through MS, you'll now have to specify which contract you want to use (if the reservation is with the 7 month mark), but it's really easy to do that on line.

And that is gonna feel soooooooo good. Thanks Breyan! I do have different UY but this was the general layout I was looking for...

Ahhh...

With a different UY you'll have a new membership number and thus two accounts with DVC. The contracts won't be the way I described since each will be like 12345 and 98765.

I think there's a way to access both accounts with one log in, but I've only read about that here in other threads. I don't have direct knowledge since I have multiple contracts buy only one member number.

Hopefully another member with more experience with your situation will be able to get you a better answer.

You can still access them from one sign on. On the home page mine shows any pending reservations from one account with a toggle to see there other account, the toggle shows the account number. Under that is an accounting of my 2013 & 2014 UY (Aug) followed by a dues amount and due date statement (mine are paid monthly). If I toggle, I get the same except 2012 & 13 UY (Dec). If I go to the vacation points page, it lists all accounts (even the ones same UY) separately but on the same page with a toggle to open or close details for each. I'm not sure if they have to be titled the same to get them together like this but I doubt it.

Thank y'all. I was just wondering if I was going to end up with two different log ins/accounts. This sounds great.

One log in and it is great.

On the home page you have "Select Membership Number".

Then when booking you will have both contracts listed under "Which Member Number would you like to use?" and will have to pick the one to check for room reservations.

I actually think it is easier with two different UY as with two contracts in the same UY you have to know how many points are left in each each contract. For a combined UY it just list point totals, not the breakdown when checking reservations. You have to go father into the website to find the break down or father into booking (not just checking).

Once you get the hang of it, it is easy to check dues and points on both contracts. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but it is fine now. Just have to more aware of the banking dates though for both contract.

What happens if different UY and also contracts are also not titled the same
ex if one daughter is also listed as owner with us and another with GD
Thanks

I believe if the owners are different it will be a different log in. We have two UY's but both DH and I own them so we can see them both on my account--he's never tried to even access...LOL

I can't be certain but I suspect that all contracts of a single owner will show up on that person's sign on.

I've been told by MS (albeit unconfirmed) that if there is any difference in ownership, it'll be a different login.

My 2 contracts are not the same. Each person has their own sign on.
