Just closed on my 1st DVC contract!

I received and e-mail from the broker today saying they forwarded a copy of the recorded deed to DVC and requested that they complete the transfer in their system. What exactly does that mean? How long before I can book a trip?

Takes about a week or two before you are in the DVC computer and can book a trip. Congrads on your purchase.

You will also need to get your membership number in the snail mail...unless you gave your closing agent you SS#, then disney will talk to you once your points are loaded and you can confirm name and your SS#.

Hi- my sale posted on the OCC on the 18th and was received by Disney on the 20th. I called them today. They were really nice and looked it up for me, but the points have not been loaded yet .
