Just checking in....I miss you all, but life has been crazy as you all know. We are finally starting to get back to normalcy. I have contracted, roofers, ac technicians and the like. Please keep us floridians in your prayers as it has been crazy here and they say another storm is brewin'. But my faith is strong and I pray to our heavenly father that he spare us from any more storms.

A lot of my family lives in florida......... 2 in Daytona, so they got it pretty hard too!! I hope so much that you guys get back to normal soon........ it's got to be tough.

Glad to hear you're hanging in there - it is a rough experience! We just returned from a quick trip to HRH and couldn't believe the amount of damage Orlando received so far inland!! My sister and her boys spent part of the 'storm night' huddled in the bathroom of their airport hotel with their luggage - she said the windows and sliding glass door actually started to bow. Keeping you all in our prayers - hope each day gets better for you!

Wow, Spideyhulk - I was wondering how you were faring. Glad to hear that things are starting to get back to normal!

Have you got FEMA help in your area? they are really helping in phenomenal ways in Cape Coral and Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte.

A friend from Cape Coral made it back to work on Friday. I asked how everything was and he said " We lost a bunch of our trees." and I replied, "Come to my house and I'll show you where they went!"
We will be cutting trees for months but we have countless blessings to be thankful for. Keep the Faith, Spidey!

Now the East coast gets their turn with Frances.
Early computer models have the storm turning and heading north as it gets near South Florida. But I'm sure we'll get some wind and rain.

I know............ we are watching this one too!! My parents are in Charleston, SC and they just got Gaston........... they had a tree fall on the house!!! With family and friends in Florida, and Charleston these storms are horrible. We are in LA. so that is not too good either......... but we have been lucky so far!!

My prayers are with everyone, hopefully it'll just pass by.

We've been wondering how everyone was doing down there. We saw some of the more minor affects of the storm when we were there last week, billboards, signs, etc., and the guy who drove the towncar told us about his brothers house being completely destroyed and his house burning after the storm. Its hard to imagine for those of us not going through it. Hope all is well for you all soon.
