Yes. But you can book dining reservations in advance without a park ticket.

Don't give up looking yet! I booked our trip on Cyber Monday when i found an amazing deal and even though every "set in stone" date had past -- 180 for ADRs, 60 for FP+ (even 30 once i finally bought tickets) and managed to get everything we wanted --- even our choice of times for the last day Soarin will be open for MONTHS. Even take into account that we're going during marathon time and not one problem! We leave in 6 days and i can barely stand it at this point!!!!!!!

With the cancellation policy for dining now all sorts of things open up even the day of (for example i just checked on a whim and there is a table for 5 for dinner TONIGHT at BOG) Don't be obsessive about it but check often -- even the day of. You'll have a blast whatever you end up doing.

I kind of wondered how the credit card hold for dining reservations would affect the scene. I will keep checking. I am glad I get to see Soarin in DL before we head to WDW. It is one of my favorites. Have a great trip!

Just wanted to mention "Sleepy Hollow" is my Favorite for a brunch CS,,
