Although I have my documents and sail in less than a month, I decided to look again at my reservation on line. ( I do this often so I can pinch myself that we are going, I guess)

Anyway, some pixie dust must have come our way. I have been now put in 6132 instead of the room we requested which was 2520. No one has called me, so do I assume this is correct? Last weekend it still said 2520.

Daughter is very excited about this, as am I. Verandah Man, what can you tell me about this new room? Is it a good location?

thanks!

You have been moved from a forward cat 9 (2520) to Aft Cat.6 6132 which has a veranda!

Thank you!

Thanks for the information. I was afraid to believe it so just called them to verify it, but didnt even think to ask about location, etc.

We cannot wait!

I just checked mine as well. We booked a Cat11 on the 11/22 Thanksgiving Cruise; our reservations now say we're in rm 2002. It looks like it might be a bit loud that far down, but I'm thrilled that we now have a window!
I've seen threads about specific rooms, but I can't find them now. Does anybody know anything about deck 2, or this room?
Thanks for any help!
Wendy

I just went to disney cruise line site and gave it my confirmation number and it wants your phone number also. Then your reservation pops up and you see what room etc you have reserved. Only one thing had changed this time!

I guess you have to have made your reservation through Disney???
Just tried it...?

yes, I made mine through Disney, but if you have your documents you can still call them with your reservation number and find out the info on your room I believe. (800) 951-3532 call this and they surely can help you out.

I was in 2004 the cruise before drydock. I didn't really notice noise. I think if anything it was much like white noise. Now please keep in mind that I fall asleep with the tv or cd player on every night. Also, I didn't go to sleep before midnight any night and only once slept past 7 am.

Have a great time.

Hi Ann ....
you can check your ressie at disneycruise.com but ONLY if you booked directly through them, if you booked via DVC or any other TA it will not show up.

gonna go cruisin--I am going to be cruising with you. I've already been upgraded from a cat. 11 to a 9..........we are in 2552.......when i saw your post i just had to go check my ressie but we are still in 2552........i am very happy about my upgrade........see you there!

Actually, you need to call the travel agency you booked through to confirm reservation info. The DCL 800 number is also only if you booked through them.
Called Alll Seasons--I am still Catagory 8. But my cruise isn't until June 5th so maybe there is still a chance for a bump up. If not--the three of us are just so happy to be on the boat.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

yes, it seems to be closer to cruise time that we get these surprises!

Minnieluvzmickey, we started out as a cat 9 and now are 6 so looks like they did good for us all, didnt they? Have a great trip!

Congrats gonna go cruising!

I wondered about an upgrade with a requested room - I am booked into a Category 10 inside stateroom - but 5520 - one of the secret porthole rooms. I really like this location but would be thrilled to be upgraded to a veranda room. If fact, I told my dreams unlimited TA that I would ONLY take an upgrade to a veranda room. Does this happen often? Or should I be happy with my "free" window?

TIA, Pat:jester:

I was actually concerned about that same thing. I had requested this particular room so I felt it would knock us out of getting an upgrade but oddly enough, it did not. In fact, I hadn't mentioned too much about people getting upgrades to my daughter because I did not want her to be upset if it didn't happen. I had requested the particular room because it was next door to the one we had on our first cruise. Apparently, they knew the upgrade was worth taking a chance and did it anyway, and I am very happy about it. I was happy before with what we got, but now I am even more excited to go!

Have your agent check on it for you. Mine was a complete surprise. Maybe you will have one also!
