Thanks to all for the thoughts, prayers and kind words. We hope that DH will turn the corner soon and be back at our MN home, though not our DVC home.
I can remember our early DVC years when having to cancel a trip never entered our minds. Now I hold my breath until we arrive. I was going to try out the new segmented dining option and had my reservation ready to go but purposely delayed paying until 48 hours ahead because these bleeding episodes come with no notice. I know there is a reason for everything so I am choosing to believe that someone who really needs some pixie dust will be getting the happy news that a BW view room is suddenly available. And I had Arthur06's trip report with lovely photos to vicariously enjoy Flower and Garden (thanks, Arthur!)

It is always terrrible to cancel a Disney vacation - it is worse when you have to cancel due to the health of a family member.
