Good news! DH's surgery was canceled at the last minute when the hemorrhaging subsided on it's own! The power of prayer. Thanks to everyone.
DH is now home recuperating. And I booked a trip for next January to make up for the one we just canceled. There is something about having a DVC trip booked that helps us through life's disappointments. Thanks for asking, Bobbi. And thanks to all my DIS friends for the support.

Great news! We would normally be there in January too, but we are going December this year and March next year instead. We have to save up points and money for our 2013 Hawaii trip.

DSis and I hope to be at the BWV from January 8th to the 14th! We will be at Disney and have some plans with Meriweather, another Diser! Looking foward to meeting some more Disboard friends!!!!

PS. I just may use those 8 points which I saved from the AKV value waitlist (which happened to be BWV points) and borrow some more to be sure we're at BWV! DSis loves the BWV...it's her favorite resort.

No, I pick up a DGF at MCO on the 15th, and she and I will be heading for VB! So...it looks as if we'll all be there the night of the 14th. I did call and have a standard view BWV studio for 5 nights, I had to waitlist the nights of the 8th and 9th since no standard view studios were available then. I'm glad to have had this conversation today....if I waited until 7 months, I'll bet more nights wouldn't have been available.

I can remember our early DVC years when having to cancel a trip never entered our minds. Now I hold my breath until we arrive.

Glad DH is home recovering . And I too think everything happens for a reason. Your above statement really hit home with me since that is my mind set now and never paid much mind to UY or thought it was that significant! Opens my eyes a bit!
