Just came back from the POLY

Just wanted to let everyone know we just came back from disney and stayed at the Poly! There's been alot of bad publicity with regards to this resort. We had a wonderful time and in our opinion, the Poly ranks amongst the best when it comes to Disney's resorts. The service was excellent, the rooms were newly furbished, the staff was friendly, and the nights were quiet. We look forward to return to the poly again in january when both the haunted mansion and spaceship earth should be ready. yeah!

Glad you had a wonderful time at the Polynesian. We hope to get back there ASAP to visit the Haunted Mansion and Spaceship Earth as well (while staying at the Poly!). As far the bad publicity, the Poly and every other resort at Disney can drop the ball from time to time. Hopfully, they learn from their mistakes and try not to repeat them. The Poly stands out a little more than most because of the huge $$$$$$ spent to stay there. Also, the tropical atmosphere does not suite everyone and if they did not do some homework/research, they will be disappointed... The Poly , however, works for me! How bout them Mai Tai's?

We too had a GREAT time at the Poly. WE were in concierge from 8/22-28 after a 5 night stay at the WL, which was nice- but the Poly ROCKS!!!

You should have a great time there.

We stayed at the karatanga. But don't quote me on that. Cannot pronounce many of the buildings let alone spell them, lol. The building was located right next to the main lobby. We were there for our anniversary and it was very convenient cuz it was centrally located to the pool and the monorail. We really appreciated there hospitality and we look forward to staying there again. We used to stay at the contemporary and loved it there too. It's hard to dislike anything disney does. They don't miss a beat. We'll be back in January. Especially if there are January codes for room rates. We are AAA and disney visa card members, so here is to hoping.
