Just came back from Halloween party

I can't say we saw any disrespectful shirts, but there was a definate increase of people. What baffles me is the Cast Members being surprised of how busy it was. We were there Wednesday to Tuesday and it was not as crowded but nothing like the wednesday or thursday before. Now people who were not much clothing I saw a lot.

Bottom line...we can't control what others are doing and I guess it's a good time to teach your kids how what they wear can also have a bearing on how they are percieved.

Yep! I use moments like this to teach DS how NOT to behave or dress.

We also teach him about the freedom of making your own choices. And that not all choices you make will be good ones. But those are your mistakes & they help form your character. And let's not forget the all important lesson of just ignoring those that make bad choices.

Really...why does it bother folks so much if some Mom has **** tattooed on her neck? It's not your neck or your tattoo. Who cares? And why should she have to cover it up? Why not tell your child that that's a bad word & not acceptable to you & just move on? Why let it irritate you every 5 mins while waiting for Buzz?

Personally, I wouldn't tell a CM about a tshirt that I found offensive. That's like telling a CM that the lady behind me smelled SO bad that she was offending me. Or that the teens waiting next to me would not shut up & it was irritating me. Both of which occurred on our trip.

In general, things like this just seem silly to get upset about, especially while at "the happiest place on earth". Clothes & tattoos are just the exterior- they don't always reflect the person on the inside. ;) Now if someone was behaving inappropriatly I would very politely ask them to stop. Then sick a CM on them. Lol ;)

But the WORST was a tattoo on one mom at the park which said "**** Love" right on her neck? Really? There's no covering that up and she had her husband and two young kids with her.

yeah im with you chrissie....I just shine it on....im not going to get upset over something like that...and yeah i would just use it as an example of what NOT to do lol

We where there the 2nd for MNSSHP(we where there the 2nd the 3rd the 6th,7th and the 8th.) Close out the park on the 2nd and 7th. Yes the crowds where Big, lots, and lots of people which I really love at Disney. More people the better. The whole T-shirt thing?, i was enjoying my self at Disney to much, to pay attention to t-shirts. Next year we are doing both DL and WDW MNSSHP, twice at both parks, the shows the parades and all the happy people. My Favorite costume was the Family dressed in the ghost Haunted Mansion costume, they actually got a round of applause when we where waiting for the parade. Kind of bummed we where only got to do the one MNSSHP, the 5th got sold out:confused:, to slow on the draw. We had such a great time can not wait until 2013

Eek! Just got my very first warning because I abbreviated a bad word. Rest assured folks that I did NOT actually type the said bad word. Lesson learned! Just thought that with all this talk over inappropriate messages, how awful would it be if everyone was reading my above post & thinking I had in fact said a bad word. Oh my!

We were there and saw the ghost haunted mansion family too. Those costumes were awesome. We were all dressed as the characters from Peter Pan. I saw those costumes in a catalog and the were $200 for the complete ensemble. They did not have a matching young boys costume or else I would have been trying to convince my hubby we needed them too.

As for offensive shirts I saw a few but most were clever and kids who read them would not get the double meaning. My favorite was a woman wearing a red shirt that said "I like both sides of the Matterhorn"

I got the same warning. I didn't realize my original post was a violation too, since I didn't use the word. Sorry!
