We just came back from our second trip to DLR on our add on bonus points. The first time we stayed at GC but this time we stayed in the Disneyland hotel and GC. Neither hotel had all the nights available. At check in for both we were really impressed with the outcome. We asked for King Size Beds and in both cases our rooms were upgraded. At DLH we had a downtown Disney view...Nice but not as good as DTD view at Grand Californian. On our second night the park closed at 7 but around 9:30 they tested the new fireworks show. We watched from our room...It looks cool. At GC we were given a conciege level room!!! We had a view of the Pier. Really Neat!!! The parks both look great and the work is still going on...There was a lot of work being done on the old people mover track...Anyone know anything? Can't wait to go back next year and see the changes!!!
