Just wanted to give a heads up....I was on the YES thread and saw that Disers were able to purchase YES tickets for new open dates. I got mine for October.:cool1::cool1:
If you have been waiting now is the time to head to their site!!

I just checked and the dates in October for individual enrollment were not available yet. Which site did you check?

Yay! Have a great time!

We used YES tickets last year and they worked perfectly for us. My two older children did the Syndergy in Science class at Epcot one morning, and we were able to take advantage of the great rates for the rest of the week. We easily saved about $400 on tickets!

I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We saved $500 for our family of 5 going!!! That is a huge savings! My only concern was the non changeable/refundable issue....guess I know exactly where I will be on October 20th:goodvibes

Wow, so early! I wasn't able to purchase last years Oct EI tickets until June/July..... Hmmm

When I called last month to see when Oct enrollment would be...they told me the end of March or the first of April! Im just glad I was keeping up with the YES thread and saw someone post that they had the dates available! I certainly wasnt planning to drop $900 today:lmao:

Thank you so much for posting. If I hadn't seen your post I wouldn't have ever realized that registration was open. I am saving over $650 with these tickets plus my kids are going to get to attend a class which I'm sure they'll love. Thanks again for the heads-up!

That's fantastic! I looked up my receipt email and it was July 8, 11. Also, this was for HS Days which opened earlier then Oct IE...so this is quite early.

Anyways, shucks, I thought I had til July to make my decision of whether or not to plan another trip ...so I guess better come up with a decision fast. :car:

Darn! Hope they still have classes in October open when our 2012-2013 school calendar is announced within the next couple of months. Can't make definitive plans until I know when DD gets her fall break.

Did you click on the link in Post #3 of this thread and put your dates in? Registration is definitely open past February.

On the link posted above, yes I see Oct. But the actual disneyyouth.com does not show enrollment past Feb. I'm on the phone with a CM who says that enrollment isn't open past June. I'm SOOO confused!!!!!!!!

I think they just havent updated all the pages. I bought my Oct tickets this morning, and went to the link above. If you put in your check in dates, you are able to see what is open. I have my registration, confirmation and I have paid for my tickets.
I spoke with a CM on the phone a week or two ago and got incorrect information. Dont assume the CM knows what he/she is talking about. The CM I spoke with sent me an email apologizing she didnt get me the right info.

I called back and gave the CM the website from above. He said it was an affiliate of them and they just had updated info before they did. But they were working on updating their site with the new open dates.

Ok so please help me pull the trigger on doing this! I'm worried that DD will be bored for 3 hrs and that she'll want grandma to attend the class with her when only DH and I can get the "special" tickets! I posted this on the other Yes program thread, but will they allow Grandma to attend the class with her as the only chaperone if she has a regular priced ticket? I can just SO see DD throwing a huge fit unless grammy can go with her!

I really dont know the answer to your question. I believe I read somewhere in the YES thread that a parent signed up to go to the class, and the other parent wanted to go and they let that parent go also. Maybe call the YES number, but like I posted...they dont always give the correct information:rolleyes:

Are these tickets refundable at all? Or used at a later time? We have our flights, rooms booked, and we do plan to go but I get nervous thinking about the "what-if's."

I tried but they closed at 5:30 EST :sad2: Grandma won't have a discounted ticket through the program though. I'm not 100% sure she's even coming on the trip so I don't want to sign her up as one of the program adults just in case. UGH :headache:

No, the tickets are not refundable. That was my MAIN concern. I wasnt planning on buying almost $1000 worth of tickets without any real planning yet, but it saved us $500 so I guess we will be going for sure.

I also have a grandma going on our trip (or so she says right now...about 90% sure). She will have to pay full price for her ticket too, but she will be fine with that, because if she didnt happen to go...then she would be out all her money. I was just saying that when you show up for the class, you could ask about grandma going as the "chaparone" instead of you or your dh, or as well as you or your dh.

From past experience, you must be a registered parent/guardian to attend the classes with your child. Also, parents/guardians (in addition to students) must pay to attend classes via YES registration.
