I am waiting for a reply about my 'great deal' I have no box so no bar code. there is one stuck to the envelope but how do I know if it's the right one??

I don't know if they still charge this, but when we got our Tivo it was $300 for lifetime

They're no longer offering lifetime subscriptions (though apparently some people have gotten an extension :-?)

Tivo extended the deadline for lifetime till April 15, but I don't think you can sign up online for it...you have to call. See the link below for more info.

Tivo Forum - on new pricing schedule

You can go to tivo.com/rebate for info on your rebate, the form and to prequalify. All you need is your info and the tivo Serial number from either the side of the box or the configuration screen.

We bought a second tivo at target too (thanks to the OP!) so now we have one for our bedroom. If anyone is willing to use me for a referral when signing up for service I would be eternally grateful!!! Just pm me for my email address.

OT: our remote lost the code for the 30 sec advance button (second time) anybody know why this happens, nobody thinks they did anything that would change things. i'll have to enter the code again to make it work.

WHOO HOO!!!!! I just bought the clearanced TIVO at Target and downloaded my rebate info off the net!!!(the rebate on the box was expired but you can get a current one off the net) I also got the Product Lifetime Service by calling the 877 number!!! WHOO HOO!!
